GoogleHaving just sold our home through Wright Marshall our experience with them was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. After a different local agent tried to convince us to sell our home at a really low price, it was great to meet James, who thoroughly explained how and why he believed a far higher valuation was appropriate, which we were able to achieve within one week of going on the market. James is highly experienced and a real expert on the local WA16 market. Diane and Louise proved to be in control of the process and tireless in chasing through responses to aid the process. By far the worst estate agent that I have had dealings with. Their policy of dealing with a valid complaint is clearly to ignore all communications and pass off any blame. At best they have been misleading over property details, and at worst liars. If you own a barge pole, do not touch them with it

GoogleIf I could give zero stars I would. The ladies here are polite enough, but its like they have no idea what they are doing. First of all.. fixes we had requested prior to moving in hadn't been done.. thats okay.. gave them the benefit of the doubt only to get to the house to find it FILTHY, muddy footprints, dead woodlouse and even bin bags in the kitchen. Just not cleaned which at the best of times is not great, but during a pandemic.. Jeez. The property is now manged by a different business (long story and one we still don't fully understand) and Wright Marshall have not fixed anything that they agreed agreed to which even though they don't manage the property ow, it's their responsibility. We have also not been compensated for all of the cleaning products and time spent cleaning. Terrible experience and considering this is our first house it can surely only get better which is a positive.....NegativeResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism, Value
Thank you for your comments. The property was cleaned by a reputable company when the property was taken off another Nantwich based letting agent. There were viewings in between the cleaning & the property being rented out (which unfortunately may explain footprint marks) - it was on the market through Winter. When it is an empty property it is standard to rent ‘as seen’. If a tenant formally requests a clean before the commencement of tenancy we would have certainly asked the landlord for authorisation to do this but we don’t do this automatically as a rule unfortunately. Insects are a little out of our control due to environmental conditions. The landlords decided to manage the property themselves & this was a very last minute decision made by them as we originally had been set to manage it, so this slightly complicated matters for the team which was out of our control. The issues are now being progressed by our external contractors, but as they are external we have to rely on their timescales which on this occasion seems to have taken longer than usual (due to lockdown) as it was supposed to be emergency work only during lockdown and these were unfortunately not classed as emergencies. We do pass on our best wishes for your tenancy & time in the property.

GoogleI recently sold my property through Wright Marshall in Knutsford and from start to finish throughout the process I received fantastic service. From the outset with the initial engagement and valuation, I felt that I was in reliable hands, and this continued throughout the process as I was kept well informed of all developments and felt as though all aspects of viewings, feedback and general updates were all handled extremely professionally. Moving house will always involve an element of stress as many aspects feel out of your control, but where I felt Wright Marshall Knutsford made a huge difference was in the way that they managed these aspects and made it feel like we were really in it together. In particular, I really felt that Diane put herself in my shoes and it made a huge difference that we had a quality estate agency working to make this happen and using their vast experience to join the dots between all of the stakeholders so that any risks were properly understood and being dealt with. GoogleSadly I had a bad experience of being a landlord and letting my property with Wright Marshalls. Abby dealt with my property and at first everything was great. They were the best priced for the service offered in my opinion - I did shop about as I was a first time landlord. However that was where the good points stopped. They lied about the tenant having a pet/failed to tell me - the tenant told me they had informed the agent. Told me I was lucky my tenant had stayed for the whole contract and paid the rent as could have easily walked away and disappeared (my biggest fear as a first time landlord - really lovely to hear from an agent you have just paid approx £90 a month for the last 12 months to manage your property)!! Told me I had ''done well'' out of the tenant (I think they mean they paid their rent for the full contract - scary that they see that as a landlord 'doing well' and not the tenant just doing what they are contractually obligated to do)!! Made me feel like a bad person for not allowing the tenant to leave the contract early (approx 7 months early) and said they had never had a landlord refuse this before - I have a mortgage on the property so could not allow them to leave as I would then have to pay the mortgage on two properties which I could not afford to do! If you want an agent that massively favours the tenant then Wright Marhsalls is the one for you!NegativeProfessionalism
