Dear Melanie, When you started the tenancy on this property we commissioned a full and independent inventory. When you moved out we commissioned another totally independent check out report. All of the proposed deductions are from comparisons between those two independent reports and as you know, these have been submitted to 'The Deposit Protection Scheme' which again, is independent and something that Wright Marshall has no influence over. You are absolutely correct, yes we do work on behalf of the landlord as they are our client, not you... Your suggestion that we are dishonest and try to diddle tenants our of their deposits is complete nonsense, I can confirm that out of all the hundreds of properties we manage across the county, yours is the only deposit dispute we currently have. I am confident that this response maintains our integrity as a business and that we will always hold our hands up when we do make errors. I recall that we were slow in processing all of the deposit information due to some of our team being on holiday, I hope you might recall that Peter in the office called you up to apologise for that delay. I hope that any prospective Wright Marshall customers will read our response which will then give them a balanced opinion on how we do business.
