GoogleI would certainly recommend Wood and Pilcher to anybody looking in the area.They were always professional,supportive and responsive throughout our property purchase. I know the seller was particularly demanding at times and required them to show extreme patience. Thanks to Mike and Tom for all your help it has been very much appreciated.

GoogleAs a family we cannot do justice in words to the entire Wood & Pilcher Crowborough Team , as we have now purchased 2 x properties through them and they are simply light years ahead of the competitors , in terms of everything - from viewings to advice and to finally getting the paperwork across the line !!! It has been a pleasure dealing with Wood & Pilcher Crowborough !

GoogleVery disappointing experience with W&P. The property was left cold and had mould issues which we reported multiple times, but our concerns were largely ignored. This was especially worrying as we had young children living in the house. Before moving out we paid for a professional clean and carpet cleaning and provided the invoices as proof. Despite this, they still charged us additional cleaning fees from our deposit, which felt completely unfair. Also charged me unfairly for some pen marks on wall. Overall it felt like all they cared about was taking money from tenants rather than addressing genuine issues or treating people fairly. I would strongly advise others to be very cautious before renting through them. I’d give them 0 stars

GoogleMy experience with Wood & Pilcher was very disappointing due to extremely poor communication. We submitted an offer on a property we were looking to rent and did not receive any response confirming whether it had been accepted or declined. I followed up several times, yet none of my emails were acknowledged. Both Zach and Fiona were unprofessional in their handling of our enquiry. The complete lack of response and basic communication was unacceptable. I would not recommend this agency.

GoogleWe had such a brilliant experience with Wood & Pilcher Southborough and can’t recommend them highly enough. We worked closely with Drew and Dan, who were professional, proactive and incredibly supportive throughout the entire process. They both kept us fully informed at every stage, were always quick to respond to calls and emails, and regularly chased solicitors to keep things moving. They were an absolute pleasure to deal with. Dan went above and beyond to find us our second home before it even came onto the market. We had a very narrow and challenging search, but Dan never gave up and made our dream move possible. Both Dan and Drew were knowledgeable, honest and genuinely cared about getting the right outcome for us. A fantastic team and an estate agent we’d wholeheartedly recommend.

GoogleThis estate agent gets you moving!!! We changed to Wood and Pilcher after being on the market with another estate agent for over five months through the Spring and Summer with no success. We approached Wood and Pilcher who agreed to take over the sale, (and were utterly professional with their guidance about how to end our contract with the other agent). Although our property was then launched with them late in the Autumn as the dark days were drawing in, we immediately had fresh viewings and a firm offer for the house within a week. This led to exchange of contracts before Christmas, and completion as soon as the solicitors were back at work in January. Their proactive approach and clear, prompt communication made all the difference. They respond to emails instantly; they followed up a query from our buyers late on a Saturday afternoon, until it was resolved and sorted before leaving their desk for the weekend. They unpicked a mistake made by solicitors and diplomatically saved the day, again with honest, clear communication between us and the buyers, which would have dragged into a complicated mess if left to the solicitors! We cannot thank them enough for the successful house sale, which all went through within weeks at a 'slow' time of year for the property market generally.

GoogleFrom the moment I reached out regarding a rental property, it cannot of gone any smoother! We explained our circumstances to W&P, the listened and managed to get us a viewing booked the same day for the apartment! Dean showed us around the viewing and has guided us through the referencing, keeping us updated through the process and all the way through to the acceptance! Very grateful for the team and the level of service they have provided, cannot fault them and would highly recommend! All the way through the tenancy they were on hand to support and a huge shout out to Lucy, Kate and Olivia for going above and beyond always!

Our experience with the Crowborough branch of this estate agent was extremely disappointing and caused unnecessary stress during an already difficult period following a bereavement. Although the sale was being handled by a solicitor, there was a very serious issue that needed to be raised directly with the estate agent. Our concerns and feelings were completely disregarded, and the situation was not treated with the seriousness it deserved. Although an apology was later given, it did not feel meaningful. Based on our experience, this is not a firm I would trust to act responsibly when dealing with a property, and I would not recommend them at all.

GoogleWe’ve just completed on our new home and genuinely could not have done it without Tania at Wood & Pilcher. From start to finish, she was exceptional. It wasn’t the simplest of processes, but Tania was there for us every step of the way: consistently prompt, endlessly patient, and always thoughtful in her approach. There was one point, due to circumstances completely outside her control, where Tania had to step away temporarily, and the Wood & Pilcher Crowborough team seamlessly stepped in. They picked things up immediately and worked tirelessly to keep everything moving. It truly felt like we had a whole team looking out for us. Her communication was clear and proactive, she kept us updated without us ever having to chase, and she handled every twist and turn with absolute professionalism and kindness. Buying a house can be stressful, but Tania made it feel manageable. We are incredibly grateful for her support and wouldn’t hesitate to work with her again. Wood & Pilcher are very lucky to have her!

Dan was almost always available to take our calls, or would call back promptly, and he was quick to respond to our emails. Dan went above and beyond for us when communication with the agent we were selling through became challenging, and our buyer hit some bumps along the way. We would not hesitate to recommend Wood and Pilcher to anyone and thank you so much Dan and team for getting it over the line.
