After months of looking for a house, we came across William H Brown who offered us a house and George Webber was very supportive during that move. Recently we moved to a two bedroom and Sarah Hicks was nothing short of amazing. We were having some challenges with referencing and they offered us different options and supported us through the process. Would Recommend them any day!

Big thumbs up for Hal Plummer who handled all over finance during the our purchase. With Hal's knowledge and experience we was able to obtain an affordable mortgage, life insurance and building insurance in one go. Unfortunately I have not have a good experience. I had an offer accepted and was not informed that it was their policy the property would remain on the market for viewings until a survey had been booked. In fact I had to discover this myself after the memorandum of sale had been emailed to me (this was after they insisted I had instructed conveyancers etc) I sent various emails, even went in and was told various different things by different members of staff. Chloe told me that only pre booked viewings would happen, Jenna told me no viewings would happen but they would keep a list of interested parties in case something fell through, and Paul left a voicemail for me stating once I had provided one further ID (which I did) it would be taken off. I emailed and told them I was being left open to gazumping and loss of money as I had paid to instruct my conveyancer and paid my mortgage company for the survey. Chloe told me that although they were continuing viewings it would not leave me vulnerable to gazumping (which I insisted I was). She also stated this is standard practice however after speaking to several people and estate agents I have discovered this is not. Eventually I attended their offices and they stated they had done a viewing but had not heard anything so felt sure everything would be fine. They stated they had to protect their seller so the property would remain on the market until a survey was booked. When questioned what would happen if the vendor wanted it to stay on after the survey was booked, they stated “then it would stay on” demonstrating a lack of integrity regarding any agreed sale. That was on Saturday. Fast forward to Monday and low and behold there has been a CASH offer which even as a first time buyer I cannot compete with. I am now out £1000 due to this agents complete lack of transparency and integrity regarding the offer process as if I had known the property wouldn’t be taken off the market, I wouldn’t have offered. I wouldn’t recommend this agent to anyone looking to buy especially as a first time buyer as they assume you don’t know what you are doing and that you won’t read everything you are provided with.

George came to see my property in Barking as I needed to rent it. He was very really helpful, kind and professional (contacted 2 other estate agents but George was the nicest!). I would highly recommend him! In the end I rented my flat to a friend so I did not need George's help any longer but even then he was really professional and kind - replied to my email promptly and was genuinely happy I found someone. I'll definatly contact him if I need his services in the future!

She ensured she kept me up to date especially if there were any delays which helped alleviate any worries. Steven has wasted my time. I’ve sent all the paperwork for the financial advisor to call me for an assessment and they never did. They dragged this for weeks without any email or phone call follow up to do the assessment so I can book a viewing for their shared ownership flats. Very disorganised agency. I had a similar experience with another branch of this agency again.
