Absolutely shocking service. Reading through a lot of these reviews I’m not the only unhappy customer. They were helpful right up until they got us an offer. Then we may aswell have not existed. Every interest was with our buyer and not once was our needs put into consideration. We have a very young child and we were asked to break the chain meaning we could risk being left homeless if we didn’t exchange by the end of November otherwise the buyers would pull out (bear in mind we only accepted an offer at the start of September and we were asked this at the start of November). We then reluctantly agreed. We agreed to exchange with a completion date at the start of jan. after us agreeing to break the chain they then insisted on ringing on a near daily basis to find out when we our new property is ready to move in to but after getting us to break the chain I feel it is now none of their business. Fortunately our new property was ready so we then agreed to move the completion date to the 6th of December. We then had our buyers turn up at our house completely unannounced asking us what was going on with the move as white and sons were not keeping in contact with them. We were then emailed again by white and sons to move the completion date forward again which at this point was becoming a joke. We’ve now exchanged on our property but did not receive a courtesy call or email to either let us know or congratulate us on exchanging. Quite frankly I don’t actually know what we’re paying them for. And a letter of complaint will be going to white and sons. I strongly recommend you don’t use white and sons. I wish I had listened to a friend of mine who is an estate agent who warned me against them. Please don’t make the same mistake I did.

So my last review they deleted as they clearly dont like negative reviews! AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!!! They are very very rude and their so called estate agents are clueless! For landlords definitely avoid as their fees are EXTORTIONATE!! And they dont manage their properties properly. We reported windows we couldn't open months ago and they never sorted it. This is a fire risk. We also had issues with our toilet and they sent a dodgy plumber who had to come twice and the toilet is worse now! They seriously are money grabbers, they will screw you over on the smallest, stupidest things. Also tenants, get a break clause put in! I became unwell and we struggled with rent so we needed to move. They decided to charge us all of the Landlords fees plus vat of course and wouldnt let us move until they found new tenants. They also are moaning that we left our previous house unclean when it was unclean when we moved in! All they want is your money and dont care about anything else. They leave things broken and dont fix them. Please please avoid them it's really not worth the stress and hassle! Oh they also think its acceptable to give you keys to a dirty house but try to penalise you and charge nearly £300 for a professional clean when you leave... ABSOLUTE JOKERS, clearly very incompetent! Seriously the reason we had to move is we unfortunately fell on hard times. DONT EXPECT THESE CLOWNS TO CARE!!! They're happy enough when they're ripping you off, but when you're struggling they charge you nearly your whole deposit to move out! I cannot stress what an awful company this is and I will keep leaving reviews until people are aware!
