GoogleFALSEPENNY. Dont fall for the trap and waste your time. After being waited to move into the new property i booked we been told current tenant is not leaving. Beaware and dont pay them before you get the keys.

Dear Omkesh, I am truly sorry that you have suffered such bad luck with this property! Having spoken with the lettings team, my understanding is that the tenant who had originally served notice, changed their mind about leaving. These situations are rare, however do happen and there is very little that we can do. I understand that you were offered alternative accommodation and the holding deposit was returned to you without delay. Considering this, burdening us with a 1 star review is a bit unfair and I ask that you reconsider the negative review. Google31 Dec had an electrical fault in the fuse box which meant no boiler, fridge or freezer in use. Contacted Truepenny's on Saturday morning and Ana A went above and beyond to get the problem fixed. Arranged an electrician to come out New Years eve and everything was sorted. Really great service.PositiveResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism

GoogleFirst off they were advertising a studio for renting as 1 bedroom (no windows or doors, just a wall near the bed). They called me that the landlord is happy with my details and rushed me to sign the monies breakdown doc, so I signed it after I double checked the flat size was okay for me to work from home. Then there was a Christmas break and I didn't hear back from them for 7 days. After I attempted to reach them that I received the below message from them. Unfortunately the landlord has agreed to go with another offer as he understood that you were still continuing to look at other properties I was travelling so I emailed that I would like to take the flat, but I found it odd that they sent me a docusign form from the same address but only told me it's not available after a week from different email address. I don't recommend this agent to tenants.

I am sorry that you have felt the need to write a negative review about your experience with our Greenwich Branch. Your offer was ultimately declined by the landlord; however this was not due to our best efforts to try and secure it for you, I will briefly explain to clarify; The landlord was willing to accept the asking price to offer you made to rent the property when you first viewed it based on the information provided. You then advised that you were not ready to commit to proceeding further and requested to view the property a second time. Upon viewing the property for the second time you advised us that you would like to proceed to the next steps but that you also had one other property to view. We advised you that you would need to decide swiftly as there were other applicants interested in the property. However, we promptly sent you the initial monies breakdown document and requested that you pay an initial sum of one weeks rent to secure the property. Some 8 days after first viewing the property and three days after requesting it, we had still not received the requested one weeks rent from you to secure the property. In the meantime, another tenant put forward an offer that was acceptable to the landlord and paid one weeks holding deposit to secure it within a few hours of their viewing. GoogleI am a landlord residing in Hong Kong. Miss ana Apostu has taken over to look after my flat at Vertex Tower. She has been very helpful and thoroguh in following up with the move -in problems encountered and left behind by the former agent. She nicely introduced herself to me and the tenant and has taken intiatiave to follow up on the issues. In the recent incident when the tenant asked for a rent reduction claiming ; that the flat is in a bad condition, Ana has offered her advice and opinion that there is no reason for a rent reduction, she also took intitaive to do an inspection of the property and made report to help justify that the flat is in good conditiont; and she had made arrangments to fix up those items needed. On checkout Truepenny’s acknowledged that we left our rental clean but still insist on a £300 pound professional cleaning fee - tenants have been alerted to this unscrupulous behaviour and I am shocked that Truepenny’s perpetuates this ‘fleecing of tenants’ practice. Be cautious when dealing with this company, over the duration of our rental there has been poor response to maintenance issues with no compensation for clear incompetence in attending to repairs punctually.

Dear Indrasen, I am sorry to hear that you are unhappy with our service. I have spoken with the property management team in relation to your complaint. The communication logs suggest that they have been prompt and responded quickly. The dispute over the £300 retention is between yourself and the landlord, not Truepenny’s. Unfortunately, landlords and tenants often disagree on the condition of the property and the cost value to make good when keys are returned. This is precisely why the adjudication process was created, it ensures a fair and just outcome for all parties involved in disputes of this nature. The monies will be awarded (in part or whole) to either yourself or the landlord, we have no vested interest in this matter. GoogleI have moved to London, had a very difficult time finding residency as housing market is overheated. Eventually, I found a property, decided to move forward. Process was complex for foreigners. Yet, this location of Truepenny's managed to secure the deal and to close it. Meriem and all of its members were genuinely helpful; they really try to help you out. At the end of the day, they were one of the nicest people I met in Britain. Trust me, go here, you won't regret it.
