GoogleIt was a real pleasure having Sarah Gillett conduct the viewing of a property i was interested in, she was extremely polite answered all my questions and provided me with an excellent service. I've also noticed that Sarah is a hard worker as she returns calls at the end of her working day which is refreshing.

GoogleHayley was wonderful showing me round the property; helpful but not pushy and did a great job of either answering the questions or going away to get answers and coming back about a vast array of topics directly and indirectly related to the sale. Hayden was great at pushing the negotiation through quickly so that both I and the vendor were able to come to terms on the same day

She's incredibly friendly and helpful, knowledgable about the properties she took me around and was able to answer any questions I had, either at the time or through regular follow up conversations. I look forward to the rest of the process running just as smoothly and working with Hayley, Hayden, Wallace and rest of the team at Truepennys.

GoogleHayley has been truly brilliant. Always very responsive, accomodating and keeping us in the loop at every stage. She always provided or sourced any answers to questions we had incredibly quickly. Even happy to provide an unexpected viewing as I bumped into her when walking thorough the area! For first time buyers she has been reassuring and made the process more enjoyable than scary! Arranged a viewing on a her property with her which turned out to be far better than it looked from the photos. She showed me around and facilitated my being able to ask the current tenant questions about the property. Would highly recommend.

GoogleIn my first experience of buying a home, Ryan at Truepenny's was the only 'link in the chain' that gave me a personal and genuine service. He personally answered my emails and ofter called me with updates. I wish that could be said of my solicitors. Thank you!

GoogleI rented out a 1 bedroom flat in East Dulwich through Truepenny's. They found me a lovely tenant, offered me very useful advice as a first time landlord and the whole experience was both efficient and speedy. My point of contact was Lina who could not have been nicer - she was courteous, well-organised and very competent. However, all the staff I met were extremely friendly and prepared to help. I would certainly recommend them to other landlords in the East Dulwich area.

GoogleTruepenny's in Dulwich have been super to deal with over the last 10 years. Ryan and his team secured me excellent tenants when I let out my flat and more recently when I decided to sell it within a short timeframe they were excellent at finding a buyer swiftly, monitoring the whole process from start to finish. Brilliant service from Connor and Kristina. Highly recommend.

Their knowledge and expertise made the sale happen - when it could have fallen apart on a number of occasions. Ryan is great at negotiating and keeping both sides working together. GoogleCompany values appear to be "profit before integrity". Edit after reply: Mr Vella - thanks for your response and it's specificity. I realise I could have been more specific with my review! As I tried to make clear to multiple employees in the Greenwich branch, I have no hard feelings about the practice of a multiple bid situation occuring after an offer has been accepted. It may be ethically dubious but, as your agents made clear, it is perfectly legal. Based on the content of your reply, it seems like that message still hasn't made it's way through... Instead, what has bothered me is that Hayden and/or Wallace appear to have fabricated details of the situation in an attempt to justify the above practice. After being told that my offer would be "un-accepted", I expressed my concerns about a bidding war starting. Hayden admitted that there had been two competings bids (from the same buyer) to mine earlier in the day before my offer had been accepted. Hayden reassured me that the value of those bids (the 1st of which he revealed to me) meant they "probably weren't able to stretch much higher". I expressed my frustration that I hadn't been told about those competing bids when my offer was accepted, but agreed to raise my bid after reflecting. I was later called by Wallace, who made no reference to that bid and told me that I'd be asked to offer my "last and final" bid - another common practice, yes, but one that is designed to heavily profit the vendor and the agent - whilst he defended Hayden, saying he "had no reason to believe that the other couple would have revised their bid after my offer was accepted". A day later, when Wallace called me to say my bid was unsuccessful, he chose to claim that there had never been any other offers and that he was sorry for my confusion. Direct contradiction Mr. Vella. You can use the grey area of real estate law to justify practice which favours yourselves and your commissions, but don't justify lying to me.

Multiple bid situations are always difficult, we are legally obliged to put all offers forward to our client and we must then follow their instructions. We had no choice in this situation but to follow the vendor's wishes. You were given the opportunity to put forward your best and final offer.
