If you want to pay people to NOT manage your property - then this is the agent for you. A revolving door of staff who are not up to speed on your issues, do not respond to emails or phone calls - I mean for months and months. I will just give one example: having lived in the house with small children that was not damp, we had tenants that reported damp and ended up spending £6000 on damp work and now I’ve taken the house back I have found a blocked drain that caused the issue and was rectified for £230!!! I’m now left with a house the needs replastering and repainting. Utterly useless.

The team at Truepennys worked incredibly hard and were a pleasure to deal with throughout. I did get the impression they hadn't sold many school or loft conversion apartments before, as there was some uncertainty around the service charge. That said, they secured an offer within three weeks of the flat going on the market. The real star of the show has been Wallace Jaffray, Head of Progression. He kept our transaction moving at every stage and was invaluable in building trust between us and our buyer, and gave me advice on my own onward purchase well beyond what he needed to do. We bought our onward purchase through one of the big rival chains, and the contrast was stark. Having someone like Wallace driving things once an offer is agreed makes a real difference, and would make me choose Truepennys again each time.

The team at Bromley are absolutely incredible, supportive and caring. Andrew is exceptionally helpful with his very welcoming smile and dedication to ensuring that you get 5* treatment. Truepennys are also very supportive with the community and helping with their local school from supporting their fundraising events and recently they also became the new sponsors for their football teams. Highly recommend Truepennys, pop into their local branch in Bromley!!!

We’ve recently bought a house with Trudi and she has made the whole process as easy and pleasant as possible which is a rare thing these days! She was always been on hand to answer any questions and requests we had (and we had a lot as first time buyers!) and she really pulled it out in the last few weeks before exchange when multiple issues came up last minute. Would highly recommend her and the rest of the Truepenny’s team!

It was a great experience working with Truepennys, especially with Conor. Despite the challenging circumstances surrounding my rental property, he worked tirelessly to find a suitable tenant. What I appreciated most was his ability to balance professionalism with a great sense of humour, which made a real difference during some of the more stressful moments. This is the worst property agent I have ever seen. The advertised rent was 1,650 pcm. However, the agent tried to negotiate with me to uplift £50 because they say it's instruction by the landlord as the property is very popular and there are 8 viewings are scheduled afterwards. I unwillingly uplifted £25 and it's agreed. Then, there was another problem. The agent say its earliest move-in date is 2 weeks after acceptance of the rent by the landlord which is never explained and mentioned in the advertisement which confused me a lot. I need to get in the property as there was time limit and my wife strongly wanted to move in to the property. But to be honest, I really hate this property agent. I'm already planning to move out from this property.

GoogleI've recently bought my first home through Truepenny's in Charlton. Through the process of viewing properties I've met a good few estate agents and I have to say David at Truepenny's came across as the most honest and straightforward. No estate agent script or nonsense, no opening of cupboard doors and saying "look you've got a cupboard" (I've seriously had that before) and most importantly, no BS. I also thought the staff at Truepenny's went the extra mile, having seen the property online over the weekend I called the office on a Monday morning and they did a viewing the same day. And finally I was flying by a wing and a prayer at times to get everything across the line and I appreciated David's patience in all of that. I can highly recommend Truepenny's and would certainly use them if I was to sell or rent out my home in the future.

Refused to request items from the landlord like removing furniture and allowing keys to be returned early at end of tenancy. Our boiler broke on one of the coldest days in winter and we had to quote the unfit for habitation act before they responded to my requests to send someone to fix.

GoogleWe don’t have enough words to express our gratitude to Connor and his team for everything they did to help us get through a very difficult time and a property sale for our family. We worked with them over the course of many months after we lost a family member very suddenly, and we had to solve multiple complex issues all at once, with which they were an invaluable resource and help to us. Our property sale had a very happy ending with a wonderful buyer and they took care of so many aspects of the property along the way to the finish line. We will be forever thankful to Connor and his team for their kindness, guidance and expertise!

GoogleWe were having a bad experience with another estate agent in Peckham to try and sell our property, so we reached out to Connor who immediately jumped in to help offer their opinion and advice. They weren't pushy at all, and it felt like they were really looking to help us rather than force a quick sale. We would definitely recommend for a really supportive and helpful estate agent.
