There was a maintenance issue with the flat on the morning of my move in and the whole team rushed to get it resolved within a few hours. Madison in particular has been super friendly and helpful. GoogleWould never recommend this agency, I am taking based on my own experience with Mariem; she is not willing to help the tenants and hide a lot of things from the landlord too. It is disgusting to deal with people like this, that don’t want to work or help their clients.

Hi Marta, I have looked into this matter before responding. Mariem is a very highly regarded property manager with many years experience, your review is libellous, misdirected and unacceptable. Truepenny’s have no involvement in the issue you have raised! Your security deposit was lodged with the Deposit Protection Service (DPS)- an independent, government approved scheme. The deposit return is still ongoing with the DPS. According to the 3rd party check-in and check-out reports, the flat was returned to the landlord in a state that was a lot worse than how it was received. In section 2.28 of your tenancy agreement it states that you should take precautions to keep the property in the same condition as you found it. This has been explained to all parties in various emails and several phone calls. Section 1.25 of your tenancy agreement states that deposit monies owed will be refunded to the lead tenant. You must understand that even though you are three individual people, the law in the UK treats the tenant/s as ‘jointly and severally liable’ which means that you are essentially one. I understand that there have been issues between you and your co-tenants. They need to be resolved between yourselves, it is your responsibility to come to an agreement. Giving us a one-star reviews is an incredible shame, it is misguided frustration at the wrong party.

This was the case despite a few unseen challenges outside of their control - they communicated everything to me in a fast and effective manner and even rang to check up after my first few days in the property.

Matthew was my main contact and he was also friendly, helpful and easily contactable, returning calls quickly when necessary. GoogleVery helpful and expert staff here. They helped me sell my property during the most challenging market turmoil since the 80s. And at the lowest fee out of 5 agents I spoke to originally. I didn't choose Truepennys on the low fee alone, but more on their enthusiasm and trustworthiness. I'm satisfied I made the right choice. Marketing commenced in the last week of June 22 and the sale completed 21 Oct 22.
