So nearly 3 years in and with the communal area still not finished the snagging has begun on my home. So far I have water coming through my ceiling in 4 different places which I reported 4 months ago which hasn’t been fixed. Completely new en-suite had to be fitted. Replacement Bath and shower fitted in Bathroom. All 3 toilets leaking and flushes not working. Flooring downstairs to be replaced. Floorboards upstairs to be lifted and refitted. French patio doors to be removed and refitted. Driveway subsiding in places and needed relaying. Patio subsiding as laid incorrectly. Ceilings downstairs to be skimmed and repainted along with all the skirting boards which weren’t primed. Front door threshold to be replaced. Hot water tank leaking and thermostat fallen off the wall.Lead flashing to be replaced on garage roof.drainage stinks. Cracked slabs leading to front door. Kitchen units peeling. 2 radiators hanging off the wall. 200 emails sent. Please please be aware. THIS IS NOT SNAGGING, ITS DEFECTIVE WORKMANSHIP, THERES A DIFFERENCE. Don’t be taken in by some dubious 5 star reviews naming individual staff (I think we can guess where they came from) BE CAREFUL. 78% of reviewers won’t be wrong!!! Completed in September 2020, shower started running through the ceiling. Took months to get sorted. Happened again. I've now got actual mushrooms spouting from the soaked skirting boards. The shower tray is on a slope. Apparently there's nothing wrong with it though. Plus the hellish smell coming from the bathroom. Not lindens problem apparently. I even bothering with their complaints procedure anymore, I'm going straight to a solicitor.

TrustpilotDon't buy a Linden property
My daughter and her husband bought a linden homes house just over two years ago. They have had numerous problems including having to have a whole wall replastered because the finish was shocking. Now they have water coming through the ceiling of the downstairs toilet and have been told the house is out of warranty so it's not their problem. Don't ever but a Lindens property.

Poor service. We moved to our new build in July 2018 after just giving birth and 3 years later, our kitchen is still not completed. We have constantly asked the team when this is being completed and we have people come out to finish the kitchen, but they turn up with the wrong materials and say it is a 2-3 man job that will take majority of the day - rather than a quick job they were made to believe.Longacre Basingstoke cannot hold a site manager and the staff rotation is awful. No wonder there has been no consistency with our experience. Fed up, and just want a finished kitchen.

Again find ourselves having been misled - - been obvious for weeks that our build was falling behind schedule but TW continually insist no it’s on track. My husband has arranged to come home from work abroad early for completion (an email to a manager asking for confirmation that completion wasn’t delayed was ignored so he had to make decision) and this morning told that yet again we’re delayed. The company isn’t honest or open and doesn’t care about the customer - I’ll await the standard TW response of our regional team are in contact with you, the same ones who ignored my husbands email for a weekEdit - we were promised an email today from the construction manager detailing timescales for work on our house and despite assurances it would be today we received nothing another TW fob off. An email to the head of the NE Josh Raven has also gone unanswered. Quite simply TW are the worst company we have ever had to deal with, incompetent, dishonest and disinterested

Some of the worst after care service I've ever known for any product or service, let alone one which represents the biggest investment I'm ever likely to make. Very badly informed staff from start to finish. Blatant lies regarding obvious problems with the property. Constant avoidance tactics in rectifying problems. Untidy and unprofessional contractors sent to fix problems. Obviously its the property and price point that will decide wether or not you buy with Linden but literally every stage of the purchase and after care has been a litany of problems.

Never buy a house from these lying unscrupulous scumbagsWe have 140 snagging problems on our home, we have been fighting for 4 1/2 years to get them sorted. The warranty is not worth the paper it is written on. Nhbc say linden are liable, linden says nhbc have to fix it, no one fixes it!!Our porch is hanging off, the electric is wired wrong, there is no rain water goods under the garage, the earth wire was not attached to the gas and electric meters, if you turn the electric off for upstairs the electric partly goes off downstairs and not upstairs at all. The flue for the boiler is at an angle so rain water runs into the boiler, the extractor fan pipes were non existent in the loft causing a fire hazzard, the windows are fitted incorrectly and were supposed to be grey but turned up onsite white so they sprayed them, now they are peeling and look like a Friesian cow. Toilets aren’t level, door handles aren’t level, light switches aren't level or they are damaged, i could go on but whats the point, they are able to build substandard houses and get away with it,because it says on their blurb that they dont have to build quality, i wish we has never brought this house, its been too stressful to call home.

It is clear from most of the feedback after looking into this at the beginning of dealing with TW is all great but after they have received your money and you move in the horror story starts. TW need to get there finger out and up there game as aftercare is terrible and it looks like you don’t give a rats ass about customer service. This is the biggest investment someone can make and when you move in you are all excited but 6 months down the line you are at breaking point with TW. Higher management and the executive board need to address this asap. I can’t ever see TW being a five star builder again and what was a trusted company name looks like it is in bits now.
