Would definitely consider looking at other new-build companies and homes in Bristol and avoiding this one. (Taylor Wimpy, Brabazon, Barrett and Bellway all have new build sites across Bristol) When purchasing they don’t tell you the kitchen is a bog standard white, and all you’re choosing is the doors, they sell it like the kitchen would match the doors (like it should) so all other panels like the corners, centre posts, ends and top edging is in the cheapest bog-standard white. A massive cost saving issues which seems to be their main priority across the board, which isn’t what you’d expect when paying the prices you do. I’m now left with a grey and part while kitchen that looks odd and not done properly. When contacting Vistry and linden, was told they’re not willing to do anything whatsoever and if I wanted it sorted I would have to get it done myself. Only reason I’ve given 2 and not 1 stars is because the sales woman Tina has generally been excellent and helpful, but the money saving over customer satisfaction mentality is very disappointing.

One of the worst built houses I’ve ever seen. A three year old could make a better construction with cardboard.The builders are using such random cheap crap from Germany and it’s impossible to source to fix. Snag work? Don’t get me started. The builders are stupid, lazy and use apprentices with no supervision.The building architect must have been high as a kite designing a house with a super flat roof made of some plastic crap that leaks!My garden was buried full of crap from the builders. The walls are so thin that an ant could far and blow them down. Customer service is a joke, they just want your money and they don’t give a toss. They’re flogging honest to god death traps with fault after fault and I can see someone being seriously hurt or worse. Profits before bloody people indeed. Don’t buy a house from these fools, don’t rent one, don’t even look at them. Summary here, houses are cheap and built with Mickey Mouse materials. The builders don’t sort snags, and when they do, they ultimately make them worse. Houses are badly designed by what I’m assuming is a Child architect.Customer service is like chewing a brick.It’s just not worth the stress. If you sell up, you push the rubbish onto the next poor undeserving sod.Awful experience.

They wanted to know all the details about ourselves even before showing us the show house in the name of affordability check which was the first time I had seen any one doing. They wanted to know our date of birth , value of previous house, whom we are lending with etc etc. Comeon guys we just wanted to see your show house before we can decide to go ahead and if we do not like it what do you want to do with all our information.

DO NOT BUY from these people they are very good at lying they told us the house would be ready in May 2022 when we bought the house in August 2021 May came not even started then told June then told July then August, September October now November and we always had to phone them. We had buyers for our home who were willing to wait till our house was ready in June, but we had to move out then because they couldn't wait any longer due to their circumstances. Wimpey threatened us in Feb if we did not get the land registry sorted (they left some of our property off the registration) we were told we had 24 hours to get it sorted and had to pay £500 to get it done quickly all this stress caused my husband to have a bleed on the base of the brain stem which has left him unable to walk and communicate badly, adding to all that stress we had to move into a house that is not suitable for his needs because we could not get anywhere else, are they bothered! NOT IN THE LEAST, the CEO is not interested or any other higher up they leave all the complaints to sales staff who I feel sorry for, they are the ones who have to deal with unhappy customers.

Sorry I can’t give a zero. This is from a subcontractors point of view not about their allegedly shoddy homes. Was asked to come in for an emergency as they were without a telehandler and desperately needed one to help their project proceed. Dropped everything (including the work I was doing) to help as they were offering a very generous amount for the day. Rushed across the county and arrived as soon as I could. Checked with site management what the agreed rate was and got on with the job in hand. Workers were happy manager was happy and I was happy as I’d made some money. Then a week later I get a phone call. They decided that they’re not going to pay. So there’s me a days wages lost and the cost of driving across county. I think it shows the company in a true light. If they are willing to stamp on the little man I’m sure they’re willing to sell you a substandard home.

And I Am Being Ignored All The Times. I Gave Up. Would Definitely NOT Recommend Buying Your First Home From Them.

We purchased a home in Stoneyetts (West of Scotland).Nicola in Sales was completely fantastic, always keeping us updated and answering queries quickly and honestly. She made a point of supporting us through each step.The building site manager, Alan is friendly and made a point of chatting us through the build and what to expect.When we moved in, there were the usual few snags on the list. However, anything we did have was dealt with quickly and professionally by Kevin and Tony who were extremely helpful and approachable. Tony has gone above and beyond. We're so grateful. We have now been in our home for c7 weeks and so about to move into the stage where we're looked after by after sales and Customer Care. Hopefully they will prove to be as attentive and professional as the rest of the team thus far.

We purchased a house from them 3 years ago. The first few months customer service was excellent then went completely down hill. Had nearly 100 snagging issue some of which we still have but LH ignore my emails. Had an issue with high water bill due to the fact they laid dead turf in our back garden so was instructed by site manager to water for hours a day and ended up with £1400 water bill. First they accepted responsibility but dragged out paying, then refused to pay altogether. Will never buy from LH again and advise people not to

We have just completed on our home on Kirkleatham Green, Redcar. Ben and Jack are both so friendly, attentive and helpful, and nothing is ever too much for them. I personally felt like they treat our home as their own; they do genuinely want it to be perfect for you. They kept us well informed with progress, and what we needed to do next. We’re really pleased with our home and the service provided!

We have bought our Linden home through Ben and Jack at Kirkleatham Green, Redcar. They and Linden have been very patient as we had a nightmare sale of our old property. We cannot fault the service and build on this site and very few snags. Ben and Jack are very kind and professional who answer all queries and sort any problems promptly. It has been a joy to deal with them and also the site manager Karl and his overall manager, Michael.

9 pages of snags, varying in seriousness, after a dipstick manager tried to put up barriers we went above him and have resolved all snags.5 star builder is false.If you're happy to have an constant stream of workmen coming in, having to stop in for them over 4 to 6 months, often leaving the "fault" worse than before, then go ahead.Sloppy workmanship is normal, sometimes safety critical negligence.

We bought a new build, 5 bedroom detached home. Minimal snags, 18 months on and we are still happy. We'll, replaced the kitchen tap, but otherwise, our reservations about new builds and Linden are gone.Great sturdy materials. Good craftsmanship.

Avoid this builder I’ve had nothing but problems I wish I was able to post photos of the problems as I’m sure you would avoid buying a property. It started November 2021 I had a leak from a pipe in my living room I left a key with the site manager for them to find the leak oh my days when I got home I had 5 holes which were larger than a spot light , I then found as I went up to my bedroom that my foot sank into a hole and that my carpet had been lifted up to create this hole. The holes in the ceiling. Im still waiting for my carpet to be put back down and I ended up painting my living room ceiling as I’m fed up of waiting. I also have a large crack from ceiling to floor that when you press it your finger goes through but I have been told that it’s up to me to correct this. I had to send a message through Instagram as when I sent emails no one would get back to me, they finally got back to me but after emails back and forth and being fobbed I’m still waiting so I decided to put a review on here I’ve had new houses before and been so happy with them but this builder needs striking off I have so many problems I’ve not listed them all PLEASE AVOID

Absolutely shocking build quality and after over 2 years the apparent snagging (poor workmanship) is still not put right. The company and the builders associated should be ashamed.
