Visited the partridge walk site at stafford to view 2 houses on the 30th Oct An elderly woman sat behind the desk made no attempt to engage with us we then walked around the site came back and still made no attempt. We are cash buyers looking around to buy .Left a bad taste as we like the look of the cypress house .Very disappointed with so called service

We have experienced an unbelievable…

We have experienced an unbelievable amount of issues with Taylor Wimpy ranging from having our signature forged on documents, snags that had risk of life (which were just ignored), and structural issues which were put under off and left for us to sort. Every time we try to get answers out of them we get lied to and lied to over and over again. Our entire development have been struggling with them where not one house has had a good experience

We recently purchased our new home through the office at Appledown Orchard. Sandeep, Molly and Tasmin were great with us right from the beginning. We were selling our property to purchase our new house and when this fell through they were very supportive and patient until we found a new buyer. Nothing was to much for them they kept us updated when house build was delayed though no fault to them but due to the weather conditions. Right up until the day we got our keys the team were amazing. If it wasn’t for Sandeep directing us to our plot and considering it as an option we wouldn’t have found our forever home. We are really pleased with the build and are loving our new home. As any new build we have had a few minor things that have needed doing but the site team have been responsive and have been getting it sorted efficiently. Neera

TW is a joke

TW is a joke. We moved into our new house on the 22 December 2022 Our garden keeps getting water logged they sent some one to rectify it but they just conditioned the soil and put down more grass seed, it is so water logged we can't even walk on it, there is a patch of gravel (paving stone size) outside patio door which doe's not make sense other than to trip you up, I have been reporting this and the narrow bit of front garden that they have left undone when everybody else's had been done since February just about every week. I have been promised a call back each time but never had one. Paint work in side of house is a disgrace you would think they had painted over sandpaper had to cut lumps of paint off with knife as the sander could not remove the lumps, a damaged bedroom window frame, kitchen cupboard were not fitted securely I had to pay to get a new kitchen fitted it was so bad (got another company to do that) I did not trust TW workmanship. I give 1 star because not allowed to give a 00

Taylor wimpy thought it appropriate to remove my review. Each time you do this TW I will write another, nothing I wrote was dishonest or inaccurate. The heathy wood development in Copthorne was an area I was really interested in, however we was advised we could not view thier home unless a mortgage advisor could check out affordability. Ok this is ok until we are informed a full credit search would be performed. Credit searches should not be performed for this reason, so we declined. My previous review was added a week ago and has been removed. TW in Ockley park were fantastic and both Jonathan and David were great, accommodating and used discretion which in this day and age is a good idea. So I am sure I will get another message from Ruby informing me TW will make contact, and they will then delete the review. I am now photographing my review as proof it was put on to Google. It is dishonest, to remove such reviews. Stopping people to view homes all to use hard sell tactics and take a mortgage with whom they provide. They have this week, then I will go to the papers, fortunately I have a witness that heard my conversation with their mortgage service that clearly stated it was a full search. A very pleasant experience

Alison and Lauren in Sherford made my experience buying my home amazing, they were generally lovely people and helped me in any way they could to help me secure my home. My sale was a bit of a nightmare and I could have lost my ongoing purchase, but they helped in every way possible.The quality of the home is almost perfect, a good solid 10/10. I am so happy with it! The on site quality assurance staff, Steph, also came to say hello, and so did the assistant site manager, which was really nice.TW have really delivered a dream for me, thank you.

Reserved a house Taylor Wimpy pulled out at the last minute

The title says it all really. Reserved a house with Taylor Wimpy as part of a part exchange. Asked repeatedly if the flying freehold would be an issue, was informed it would not be. At the 11th hour, when all that was left to do was sign the mortgage offer and the contracts, they pulled out.Left me with a sizable bill for conveyancing and a headache. I will never try to buy a new build ever again.

Hornbeam Gardens - Micklefield

Moved in just over a year ago, neighbour behind us flagged a part of our window had come off so reported to TW. Firstly it took weeks for them to book anyone in to come and look at it. Finally when they arrived it transpired that the only way the damage could have been caused was that the window itself was broken when fitted. The engineer said it was a miracle it hadn't leaked. So clearly the site manager and site team aren't inspecting the work of subcontractors properly. This is a 3 storey property and the window in question is on the roof, so no way of noticing it myself. Now a further 2 weeks down the line, i've had to chase everything up myself and the customer service team just give wooly noncommittal answers. Asked for a formal complaint to be raised to be told that I can speak over the phone about it, which just indicates to me they don't like to put things in writing. Happy enough to take your money but as soon as you're out of the initial period where you have an allocated person to deal with issues, they don't care. If it isn't resolved immediately i'll be submitting a report to NHBC about the standard of work carried out.
