Where do I start

House is freezing cold.! Especially the hall way and upstairs, small pointless radiators. We have had leaks,scratched kitchen cupboards that took 11 months to replace, paid for turf and it’s awful, no drainage in the garden so it’s boggy.Roof tiles fallen off already. Taylor and wimpy are great before you buy, after you feel like an inconvenience for mentioning any problems with the house.1st time buyers and the house we bought is not what we expected

Scam company and will make sure all your potential buyers know

You have sold us a home with lots of hidden faults original contractor came and diagnosed the issue you made me take unpaid leave and are basically calling him a liar saying that nothing but the hallway and living room need to be replaced when it's a faulty batch of carpet. Rebecca James in your customer care team is dealing and is utterly useless. You scam your customers and then refuse to resolve issues. I will be going down to the Thorn Field sales team this weekend to show pictures to all of your potential buyers to make sure they know not to invest their money with you. You're supposed to be reputable. I'm taking this to the New housing ombudsman as well as to the media. The amount of people you rip off and think you can just ignore is ridiculous.

Don’t buy if the developer is using Firstport

I have a property in Dartford @ the bridge development. Please be mindful when buying properties from these people. Taylor wimped should be ashamed using companies like Firstport. They literally will take money every month in service charges but do very little to nothing around the place. Rubbish everywhere. Weeds as tall as me. Please don’t buy 😡😡

Pathetic build quality : poor roof valley gutter installation : Hole in roof leading to leakage from roof to fascia board

Pathetic build quality, issues after issues, an expensive purchase from TW in their so called flagship site Somerdale, Keynsham, Bristol. Customer services too slow, just finds ways to delay, not provide attention and fix for critical issues.One of a serious critical issue: hole in the roof reported now exactly 3 months ago (mid October 2023) within 2 years builder warranty, leading to leakage from fascia board. The hole in the roof is created by poor roof layout - e.g. the valley gutter from top of roof not leading with sufficient lead to base gutter leading to hole in the roof. One of previous contractor didn't responded to the ticket, second contractor has done 2 inspections done so far with no date to fix the issue.Initial complaint closed without any resolution. Raised a second complaint now and waiting for a final decision letter to approach NHBC to get the issue fixed.Avoid the builder at all costs. Build quality is poor and after sales customer services is pathetic.

Awful company

Awful company. Poor customer service. Do not actually listen properly. Nor do they deal with the issue. Cherry pick. Misrepresent, mislead and lie to try and dismiss ongoing issues. Don't return calls. Site Manager late for appt. No apology. Just awful. Houses aren't B rated EPC. Cannot be as house cannot be heated properly. Issue partially ignored and site manager basically misrepresented the issue.Honestly stay away. They are truly dreadful and petty.Reading their reviews it is clear they reply only to well starred +ve results. Ignore the real issues and that speaks lots about their attitude to those who raise concerns and object. Simply these reviews are ignored.The update from Ruby saying an outcome was achieved might be for them but actually they failed to investigate it properly. Failed to listen. Failed to even acknowledge they missed off issues I raised. Failed to discuss directly. Failed to follow up on what the sit manager told me. Overall a whitewash. Take heed TW are shocking when challenged about their staff attitude. Ghost you. Be warned.Here TW don't offer to investigate my concerns about Hartburn Grange site

Worst nightmare

If I could give them zero I would. The most discusting deceitful company! Drag you through hell then push you down further. House is now lower in value because they installed a dog waste bin outside out home without ever mentioning there was one near our home. They don't want to help and pass the blame continuously you go round in circles. Do not buy thier homes!

Overall, the buying process was smooth and the construction quality is good. Home was delivered on time and there were only minor snags. Removing 1 star because building an apartment block "without lifts" in 2024 is a very poor architectural design decision. Apartment blocks should have lifts in them by default even if it's only 2 floors!

Very disappointed with poor standards of building and service

I purchased a 4-bedroom show home in Shinfield Meadows. Despite assurances from the sales team to address the snag list before my move-in, they not only failed to fix the issues but also removed my bath screen to fix in another house they need to urgently sell then replaced with an inconvenient one when I complained. They provided a 4-burner hob instead of the advertised 5-burner, and after cutting and replacing the granite, I discovered a cracked tile. Despite my complaints about the sinking bath, their area manager insisted it was fine, only for it to fall later, causing water damage. A plumber who came was shocked and said bath were never fixed and then he fixed the bath but never returned for grouting. They neglected water damage repairs and ignored other issues like moving tiles, a shaky front door frame, and poorly installed kitchen cupboards. Attempts to address these problems have been met with unfulfilled promises, taking annual leave to be disappointed with no show, leading to a frustrating five-year ordeal without resolution.

A house 10+ years down the line

A house 10+ years down the line. Took TW 2 years to resolve all the major issues. The break down on the estate is a nightmare as mulitple companies involved and all want a chunk of money. £50 plus for a freehold house paid in advance.Read the small print as services provided on new build area removed or scaled back. Plans changed. Lack of parking!

Poor build quality

Poor build quality, doorbell doesn't work, porch light doesn't work, boiler is failing, the streetlight outside is broken again. Drainage in garden is non-existent. Sold under the pretense of a doctors, shops etc on the development but new houses are just being built on the land. Driveway design is poor leading to people parking on roads instead.
