We have had an ongoing leak from our main bathroom that has twice come through our downstairs ceiling. I was told last year by customer service that no leak existed, even though it came through our living room ceiling and damaged our flooring. The leak started again this week and after the plumber attended, he found a leak behind the bath and advised that someone would attend to repair it. I then received a ‘case closed’ email from Taylor Wimpy and when I phoned to say that the leak had not been repaired, I was advised that it was a ‘sealant issue’ and that this came under ‘home maintenance’. A leak significant enough to come through another part of the house is not maintenance - it is a constant battle trying to get basic issues rectified. Avoid.

We bought at Beaumont Gate, Aiskew, couldn’t fault the process. Kate was extremely helpful through the process and we managed to get some fantastic incentives. The site team and Steph have been great with the minor issues we have had since. Everything we flagged has been sorted in a timely manor so that has been really good. Everyone has been really approachable with any concerns or issues we’ve raised. We are happy with our property and we’d recommend!

Informative and Enabling Staff

My partner and I visited on the Saturday to look at show homes and we were warmly welcomed by Helen at the Calderwood development. She was busy that day with appointments but redirected us to the show homes while attending to other customers at the same time. We also got to see some of the already built homes that were in move in condition; they are all beautiful homes with a great layout. On the following Sunday we went back to look a bit more and we decided to reserve one of their homes! Helen passed on information about us to Kayla seamlessly who was then able to progress our application. They also had a mortgage broker on site that helped us to understand our financial decision, very handy.

Great house, snags handled well

Moved in to my new house in September, the house has been finished to a super high standard, they left a nice box of freebies, and like any house I had a few snags, but they've been handled super quickly and promptly. I can't fault this house or this company they've been great. I suppose the lack of turf is a downside but I already knew it wouldn't have any when I bought it. Definitely recommend!

We have been in our house for two and a half years now, every 3 months our drains get blocked and they have to come and unblock them, garden has been dug up 4 times about to be a 5th time, had countless people out to try and solve the problem, had an independent guy come out and he straight away said it’s a huge problem with the drain people not putting it in properly and it was gonna cost thousands to fix, Taylor whimpey have been awful throughout, once this problem is finally fix I will be hoping to move as the house it built terrible, with problems all over from the very start including a electrical problem which resulted in our fuse board melting, customer service has been terrible, do not recommend

Now we are finally in our beautiful forever home i can finally post a review about the lovely Ellie Coath. From day 1 Ellie has been such a help to us with every step of the way with our new home journey. From chasing things up to giving me a call to see if i was ok the day we thought it was all going to fall through. Even when Ellie moved to a new site she was there to help us with anything we needed. Our moving day was made extra special by Ellie handing our keys over and leaving us a treat in our new fridge! Health hazard.

Virtually no insulation in the walls. Zero insulation separating my property from my neighbours. Extremely cold despite the heating being on continuously. Heating bill for a 1 bed flat is £178 a month. Failed to meet building regulations in terms of acoustics. Not even a slight fail but a failure of 23DB. Major fire risks. DPC installed below ground level leading to severe mould in property. Independent mould survey established 1.6 million mould spores per cubic metre within the property. TAYLOR WONKY response? We’ll lay some carpet In your neighbours flat. Avoid at all costs.
