“Very Poor Quality Houses”

“Very poor Quality houses”We purchased a 4 bed house in this community couple of years back. The build quality is very poor. We reported several issues about cracking noises, shaky plaster walls, leaks, leaking bay window, drainage issues, electrical problems, gas leaks, broken locks and poor paint work to their Yorkshire Customer Service. Their response was very rude and we had to reach to NHBC who finally made some recommendations to the builder to complete the works in the 2 year warranty. After few 10s of emails to the C suite, the regional customer service head sent contractors to investigate the problems. These contractors were unskilled and very unprofessional. For an Example, to make the floorboards even, the contractors shaved the timber😥, to control the noises, a contractor has put few hundreds of nails into the ceiling which even caused more damage to the property. After almost a years of correspondence, some contractor finally attended and did the repairs. Advise not to spend your life savings on a poor quality build. This bad choice has caused lots of disruption to my family and also has taken a toll on my health.

Would never buy from thus unethical…

Would never buy from thus unethical builder. Once they have finalised rhe completion and had your money. They wash there hands of you . All loveliness right up to the day of exchange after hat they don't care . Even down to items they have fitted in the house that have more than 2 years guarantee they will not help . Soon as you call its, Sorry your out of your 2 year warranty you need to contact the manufacturer. Call NHBC they don't care either so have a fault with your hone past 2 years . Your on your own .

Found leak under our sink and contacted…

Found leak under our sink and contacted TW who sent a plumber, plumber reported back to TW we followed protocol but a small bit of water was left causing the leak. We shut the outside tap off in October and drained it, place a cover over the tap like we were told. Now being told we did not follow correct instructions. So it’s not getting fixed and when you ask to speak to anyone they are always unavailable. Less than a year in the property and the list is endless of problems, fan in main bathroom never attached to wall causing cold air to come in, front door water damaged awaiting repair, concrete at patio doors all cracked letting cold air in. House is freezing and had to fight to get someone to do thermal imaging which won’t be done until end of March. At breaking point now and will be contacting local papers and will show them all the pictures of problems and emails back and forth. Very angry right now. Just seen a copy of the report from the plumber who has lied and stated I said I did not follow correct instructions, those words never left my mouth, absolutely shocking they believe what the tradesman they send are saying, when this was never said. No response from TW well just shows how bad they are at communicating with customers. Take your hard earned money and then don’t want to knowRuby please do not insult my intelligence if we did not contact TW then there would be zero contact, and dissatisfied is an understatement,

We Visited the show homes at Brightwell Lakes Development viewing the 4 and 5 Bedroom houses. Very Impressed at the styles and layout of these houses. Rachel, is an amazing lady who showed us around, let us view by ourselves, but her knowledge, friendliness, approachability and professionalism surpassed none. Requires Communication Improvement

Me and my partner have been looking for a house and came across the beautiful Braxton homes. When we booked our appointment we assumed we would be able to see a house. When we got there the sales advisors had the reservation paperwork ready so we felt a little rushed. The house we are also looking at is not built either which would have nice to know. Other than that, I cannot fault them.
