From the get go I was welcomed with warmth, transparency and kindness. Sam and Alison (from the Middleton, Manchester branch) are great and helped me tremendously. From the first interaction, through the reservation and option selection processes until the exchange of contracts. Sam was very quick to answer all my enquiries no matter how peculiar they may have been. It was my first time I purchased a house, let alone a new build house, so you can imagine I had a lot of questions and lot of information need explained. She, patiently, explained every little detail, even multiple times, until she was convinced that I understand correctly everything I need to understand. She does her job very well. Even during the my uncertainty period while I was still shopping around and then later during the negotiation period I felt she was on my side, she was trying to help me make the decision not to get most money out of my pocket. I never felt like a customer, more like a neighbour. That’s pretty rare in my opinion. In conclusion, I could not recommend them enough, stellar service in my book!

TrustpilotOngoing saga of issues. Today's it's the door that won't lock 'again'...
The back door lock doesn't work again. Just called customer service and no one can attend until Monday. Yet again inconvenience by poor products poor workmanship and poor customer service. This together with all the other reported jobs outstanding is an ongoing nightmare of a saga. I would not never buy a Taylor Wimpy property ever again. I'm so irate I'm compelled to vent my sheer frustration.

Staff CommunicationSite staff were excellent in their communication skills, recognising my needs and finding a solution. In addition the product offered was well designed. If I had a minor concern the show houses raised unrealistic expectations of the basic package available if the client has a restricted budget.

Suspicious?It just gets worse.I tried to raise a complaint with them about the ill mannered rep they sent together with a contract plumber who was equally as bad due to his lies and contradictions.Head office refused to investigate their own staff who they are responsible for. Passing the buck to anyone but themselves.They are an utter bunch of wasters. SERIOUSLY. Look elsewhere. As their reply says they are not interested in customer care. Utter laughing stock and just don't care about service

Not a fan. Bought a Wimpey house 13 years ago and had nothing but costly problems with the thermal solar, plumbing issues, poor fitting flooring , cheap fittings etc. Thankfully good neighbours but wouldn't buy a new build again - been put off for life. Another plus point though - the house is still standing!

Overall, TW have been ok at solving issues when we initially moved it. We had to come to an agreement over a few things but it was all sorted. Their communication is something they can improve on. As more and more of the development opened up and more traffic appeared, they added additional signage on shared drive ways (numbered bays) and a sign on our street that says “no parking” after several issues. I contacted them again recently to ask for more appropriate signage of the street name. As I am constantly getting incorrect mail, food deliveries, groceries, Amazon, dpd you name it, I have had it. I get them for “road” and I live on “drive”. Initially this was fine, mistakes can happen. But it is often 4/5 times a week. To the point it was disrupting sleep - my partner and I work shifts during the night so sleep in the day. I contacted TW to ask for help, given the additional signage put in place before, thinking they could help again. I should explain we live up a dead end with no sign other than the one right at the beginning of the main road which is high up a lamp post and difficult to see. They have got back to say - no and no real reason given. I’ve asked to speak to someone regarding an explanation and all they can do is tell me they are satisfied with their decision. Yet again, poor communication from TW which is not a surprise as this seems to be a tactic they use. Customer services take a week to send a one line email and don’t even have the decency to call back. I’m not asking for something they’ve never been before so I don’t really know how they can reach that conclusion. They also asked me to go and look for the street signs - that’s not my job. They have staff for that. I am keen to speak with someone from TW and hope this trust pilot review can help me.
