Awful customer service and also…

Awful customer service and also disrespectful contractors who come in to do a job and make the issue 10x worse. Ignored by the customer service department, garden is unusable house has over 100 snags. TW never does anything they say they will never turn up to co ordinate works it’s like I’ve moved into a reno not a new build the amount of work we’ve had to have done is unreal and as I say garden unusable and TW no idea how to rectify it so are now ignoring us

TW lied to me about service charge

Avoid buying a new build in Woodside Gardens

No real qualms with the house (3 bed Amersham) but the gardens in our estate (Woodside Gardens) are a joke. Garden is consistently water logged and TW are doing very little about it despite having an independent contractor out who said seconds after looking that it needed redoing. From reading several other reviews on Trust Pilot it seems this is a very common occurrence. Little/no drainage, poor quality top soil and not enough of it. We raise the issue on the touchpoint system and they close it down to say it is resolved, even though it is not. 18 months now in the house and there has only been 2 months (June/July) where the garden has been usable for the kids to play in.

All staff along the whole journey of us buying were extremely helpful, informative and supportive. All were really knowledgeable and made us feel at ease. The exterior and interior of our new build is fantastic. And since we've moved in, nothing has been too much trouble. Staff have stayed in touch and addressed any minor issues we had straight away. Such a friendly and welcoming sales office. Welcome package when we moved in was such a nice touch and had lots of useful information. Can't wait to see the rest of the site finished.

Couldnt build a pigsty

Having bought a home from TW in 2017, in the first 18 months we had to have 3 new kitchens fitted, all three bathrooms, retiling, all the floors up, garden dug up four times due to waterlogging, it turns out our home has insufficient foundatio s to even hold a one story garage up, TW simply ignored the plans for the house. Do not be fooled in thinking that the nhbc will help you here as anything reported to the builder within 18 months is the responsibility of the builder to put right and nhbc simply refuse to get involved as long as TW have made a promise to repair, even if that repair is wrong and not legal. The only way is to take these people to court at your own expense. This company does not care about the impact it has on family life, rescources your emotional or mental wellbeing. This company is abusive and really should be held account table for the crap they churn out. I don't even authorise a one star review.There are hundreds upon hundreds of people that I have spoken to personally who all face serious issues like us , who don't have the means to take these builders to court and no one else can enforce the builder to do anything. TW force ppl to sign non disclosure agreements in return for doing repairs, it's bribery and abuse. That way noone realises how bad this company is as there's no record of itnand people keep nsivley buying these homes thinking this company really can't be that bad. Let me assure you, they are.
