Over the course of the last couple of weeks my family met all 3 of the Team at Shaw Valley, and had in depth discussions and viewings with them individually. All of us agree that each time the experience was a pleasure. Dealings with them during the offer and Reservation meeting stages was also top notch. Hard to praise them highly enough.

We purchased a Gosford in Yardley Manor, Olney. It’s been one of the worst decisions we’ve ever made. We were informed by multiple TW staff that we were “unlucky” to of bought a December property as this year end and they always have faults, as the staff are forced to sign off even if there’s issues.At the time we didn’t believe it, but two years on our snags were snags but fundamental build faults… fitting guttering and putting it straight into concrete, not a drain. Not fitting vent tiles, causing a black mould build up. Lawns with infestations, not enough soil and too much rubble.Not adding gully’s causing garden floods, to name just a few, were 2.5 years in and ONLY just getting the guttering fixed that was reported long ago… the project manager lied on multiple occasions telling us it was “fixed” only for another contractor to tell us it couldn’t of been as there was no drain or soak away… that was the opposite side of our house. We’re now being left with unsightly guttering twisting and turning around the house. It looks totally awful and we’re the only house on the development to have this wrapping around. We needed up having to get a surveyor in to get them to listen and he said it was totally feasible to re-route it under ground but it was a big job and TW refused and said this was our only option. Their customer service team are inexperienced and have little understanding of which issues are minor or major. Their Director Fiona Mowbray has been rude, unsupportive and honestly appears to be there to gate keep. She showed little remorse for their poor work. When we worked out that over 20 days off work had been spent (it’s now more than this) trying to fix issues she simply said well you have to give us reasonable access to fix things… in my books 20 days off of work isn’t reasonable.They often waste your time sending 4 seperate people to assess things and they will often say no one told us it had already been assessed… When we asked for all our job sheets and info on our house they could only supply one job sheet, yet all the tradesman told us they have to fill in job sheets.They’re a very dishonest company, the first 8 weeks they can’t do enough, until you fill in your customer service review, when you do they drop you like a hot potato!Don’t buy a TW if you want it to be easy!

TrustpilotAVOID COATHA GARDENS
It is no surprise that there are already homes up for sale at Coatham Gardens on the Taylor whimpy site. They are a shameful housing company. They pass blame around and no on in the sales department has any human decency to speak to you like normal person and offer any support and help. I have waited since Dec 2023 for Taylor to sort the land directly outside my house. Land is dangerous as they have left rubble, bricks, rocks and all sorts of rubbish outside my house. Leaning the grass as long as my body. It is embarrassing, disgusting and hurtful to pay as much as we are for our home to be left with a disgrace of an outside area. Taylor offer no support and no help from any sides. Please avoid this horrible housing operation. Upon speaking to a friend who works in a legal team she had assured me that Taylor are willing breaking the guidelines that protect housing companies and now it feels like it has been done out of spite. Avoid at all costs, I am absolutely devastated and wish I could upload pictures to show the state they have left us with. Update 21st July NOTHING has been done..

We have just purchased our first property and the TW sales team were so helpful from the start. They were supportive, friendly and honest. The team kept us in the loop and offered advise throughout the process and we even got a welcome gift the evening we finally moved in, a lovely touch we thought.The only reason I have not given 5 stars is due to a couple of snagging issues awaiting resolution which they seem on top of.I’d highly recommend TW as they helped make the stressful mortgage application and completion stage a lot easier. A really lovely team.

Worst company ever. Build quality is terrible. Customer service terrible. After care for snags is terrible. Had issues ongoing for 16 months still not fixed. They lie and refuse to accept clear snags, fix them poorly which is tiresome when there’s hundreds to resolve. Never ever buy.
