TrustpilotExtremely disappointing-Unprofessional Service and Deposit Withheld Unfairly
I was a tenant with *Streets Ahead* for three years, and throughout that entire period, not a single issue we raised at the property was properly resolved. The level of service we received was consistently poor, and communication was often dismissive and unhelpful. After vacating the property, matters became even more concerning. Our deposit was withheld based on what I strongly believe to be an inaccurate and unjustified report. When I provided clear evidence of the property’s condition at the start of the tenancy, the response from the agency stopped entirely. It has now been four months since we left the property, and despite repeated requests, there has been no resolution or meaningful update regarding the return of our deposit. I am particularly disappointed with the conduct of Denim Islam, who I understand to be the branch manager. I was initially told that I was not eligible for the deposit due to the condition of the property. However, once I submitted evidence contradicting this claim, communication ceased, and the matter has since been ignored. Overall, this experience reflects extremely poorly on the agency’s handling of end-of-tenancy matters. The staff appear untrained in properly assessing property reports, and the level of professionalism and customer service has been unacceptable. Calls are rarely answered, and when they are, responsibility is repeatedly deflected with no accountability. This has been a very frustrating and disappointing experience, and I would not expect this level of service from a letting agency of this size.

GoogleExtremely friendly and professional right from the initial viewing all the way to completion. They strive to be the premier estate agency in Tubridge Wells and I would say they achieve that goal.

GoogleWe had two viewings today with this estate agency and both failed. The first one they did not have the keys and did not bother to call ahead to advise of this so was a wasted journey during working hours. Just now we had one scheduled for 4pm and again waited for 10mins and no one showed or called us. This is unacceptable on so many levels and will not want to work with such an organisation or business. Especially in current housing market we would expect better and proactive communication and actually wanting to show houses and staying on top of interested enquiries. Not good and highlights little care to customer service.

We made an offer the same day, and she guided us through the process with the landlady, then helped us get everything arranged to move in. We are delighted with the flat, and with the excellent service we received!

GoogleWaste of time, they never bother getting back to you. I went into the Moreton branch last year asking about a flat local to me and they said they'd put my details down but it was the Wallasey branch who would deal with it. A few weeks passed and still nothing so I went into the Wallasey one and was told the viewings were full but if it didn't go then they'd contact me. Once again, nothing. It was on Rightmove for about 2 months after that before it finally went! I enquired on Rightmove about another property and applied twice within a week asking for more info and to view it and you guessed it, nothing. Still to let though 3-4 weeks later! Useless company and if I see their name attached to anything I don't bother wasting my time now

Hi Francesca, I am aware your enquiry was made for a rental property, and the current lettings market is extremely challenging. We have a very limited number of properties becoming available while receiving hundreds of enquiries each month. If a property is currently tenanted then viewing arrangements have to be made via the current tenant which creates delays in arranging access and confirming viewing slots. When we are finally able to arrange viewings, these have to be allocated on a strict first-come, first-served basis due to the volume of demand. This means viewing lists can fill very quickly, and we are not always able to respond individually to every enquiry as promptly as we would like. That said, we completely understand how frustrating this must have been from your perspective, and we are genuinely sorry that your experience with both branches left you feeling this way. The current situation is largely due to a significant increase in demand for rental properties combined with a notable reduction in the number of landlords and available homes on the market. GoogleExcellent service! I was given my own point of contact and was kept up to date throughout the whole process. If my contact wasn't available, there was still someone who was able to help. As a first time seller the team were also great at offering advice and support. Everything from staging the house for the photographs, the EPC, booking in or moving viewings was so easy and every member of staff I dealt with was friendly and knowledgeable. Would highly recommend!

GoogleActing on behalf of my sister, unable to cope following loss of her husband coupled with not moving house for over 50 years, I was extremely impressed with the level of understanding and support offered by Bonds. Her property started life as a couple of small cottages, which were joined, extended and morphed into a large house surrounded by acres land. It was not a conventional 3 bedroom property but Bonds inspired lots of interest and continued to do so after two sales collapsed. They provided accompanied visits so she felt less vulnerable and regular feedback. Their professional input never wavered despite the final sale taking almost two years. Extremely happy with service and support thank you.
