FacebookWe changed estate agents to Stephenson Browne due to our previous estate agent not following up on viewings, not returning my calls etc. Stephenson Browne marketed my property, it was sold within a week and we were kept informed at every stage of the process. Can't fault the service at all.

GoogleI have recently sold a house through the Newcastle branch of Stephenson Browne, the sale of the house was complex due to the number of parties involved, not easy at times, but the whole team have been excellent, can’t fault them. I mostly dealt with Maria and Pam, but every one I spoke to in the office was always friendly and gave me the time I needed. They all, always promptly did what they said they would do, nothing was ever too much trouble. I have no hesitation from my experience in recommending and using the Newcastle branch of Stephenson Browne in the future

GoogleMargret from Stephenson Browne helped me throughout the process of purchasing my first house. She was extremely helpful, great with communication, constantly chasing things up and giving updates. She was very friendly and supportive with any questions or issues that arouse throughout the process. Very professional, welcoming and overall she made the house buying experience an easy, smooth and enjoyable process. It was also lovely to put a face to the name once I got my keys and Margret was just as kind and friendly in person as she had been over email. Overall excellent service and thank you very much for all the support, hard work and effort put into getting me my first house!

GoogleThe team is amazing. Great communication. Friendly and understanding. They work hard to get a good outcome. Conscientious, great integrity, and went above and beyond. They helped with the tenant leaving to get viewings done early. As we live a few miles away it was comforting knowing they were close to the property and actively helping. Without a doubt, I would use them again. We could not ask for more. Happy days!

Complain about anything and be prepared for a s21. As others have mentioned, they look down their noses and expect you to drop everything with little notice. Even my dad’s funeral wasn’t a reason to cancel an inspection, also note I had lived there nearly 4 years. Note for ladies, some seriously creepy contractors that like to proposition you even with kids around. Best thing they did was give a s21 as I now have a permanent home in a better location and without having to deal with these slumlords.

I INITIALLY DEALT WITH TRACY JACKSON BUT ONCE MY OFFER WAS ACCEPTED ON THE PROPERTY I WAS INTENDING TO PURCHASE I DEALT WITH MARGRET CADDY. THE TRANSACTION WENT SMOOTHLY COULD NOT HAVE ASKED FOR A BETTER DEALING, I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND STEPHENSON BROWNE TO ANYONE WANTING TO SELL OR PURCHASE A PROPERTY

GoogleMaria and her team are a very professional outfit managing to sell my property with 4 days from the first of many viewings. Dedicated members of the team at Newcastle had specialist roles to manage the process from marketing through to completion via its many stages. GoogleWe sold our old property and bought our new property with Stephenson Browne. We had excellent service from the start and were given weekly updates via phone or email. Any queries were answered quickly and we are extremely pleased with the service we received. We had previously been with two other estate agents, as this was the third house we had tried to purchase, and the other two fell through, due to the poor level of service from the other agents. However, Stephenson Browne has renewed our faith in estate agents and we would highly recommend them to anyone buying or selling a property. We would like to name Margret Caddy in particular as she was the person giving weekly updates and she also chased the solicitors at the end to get our house sale and purchase over the line! Without her we are not sure it would have happened on time - thank you. We also had great service from Sam the new manager on the last few days, as he was new to the Alsager branch. Thank you so much to Stephenson Browne and the wonderful staff who work there.

I spoke to the Newcastle branch about a property and they arranged a viewing for me. They promised to send a confirmation email to me but I haven't received it. At the day the viewing was arraged, I called them and they said the house has been sold. Zero communication, poor service.

we have lived in same property for 4 and a half years originally let through Timothy Brown then taken over years later by Stephenson browne they have to be the worst company i have ever known in all my years of owning and renting properties the first thing they do when taking over is get landlords to put rent up then they come round and look down there nose at you because you choose to rent they have repair people who when they ring you up expect you to drop everything and be prepaired to be at there beck and call and god forbid you work. we have had nothing but issues with the property before and after they took over. we were told damp and mould on walls was caused because we had furniture near walls nothing to with damage already explained to owner and them in roof never in my life have had to have wardrobes and units in middle of room to stop mould and damp, we were told that a handover date had to be made for final check out and to hand over keys this wasnt done and now without us being there and a week after a week after moving out Stephensone brown are saying they are taking money from our deposit even though we have explained on numerous occasions numerous issues where going to rectified before we moved in ie windows door new cistern bath not sealed causing water ingress into lounge causing damage to our property water rates sky high due to cistern continued to fill up would not shut off as it was wrong part bathroom sink badly cracked and no plug, when bathroom was stripped of paper and paint so much damage under could just paint it again explained this the bath was never sealed properly and even last plumber who did interim fix said it had been done so badly. We had previous tenants rubbish in shed and behind shed never removed shed falling to pieces promised new one never happened property was supposed to be decorated before we moved in never done all i can say is never use them as they feel ther above people who rent
