It was an absolute joy working with Barbara and Becky at Sansome & George team. The entire office was friendly and communication was excellent. I highly recommend this company to anyone. Barbara's powerhouse personality and humour are what's needed to keep everyone in shape. She's a brilliant negotiator that looks after both sides; both in the purchasing and selling process. My experience was great!!!

Sansome and George are professional and efficient estate agents whom I would highly recommend. The Sales team are first class, always keeping me in the picture and giving sound advice. Once the sale was agreed and Barbara took over the processing of it, the excellent service continued. Her expert knowledge, wealth of experience, advice and support, plus her ability to always have her eye on the ball, were invaluable.

We used Sansome and George for the sale of our parent's house in Tilehurst. We had great service from the beginning to the end. The viewings were well organised and we were kept up to date with feedback and offers. Once we accepted an offer they were excellent at moving things forward and liaison with the buyers. Barbara in the Pangbourne office was first class following through with the buyers, and keeping us informed throughout.

Spent summer 2022 hunting around Reading and experienced all the agents out there, some care, some don’t. Most just rush you around with no information. Honeslty, S&G was the most friendliest and helpful, on the week I had three to put an offer on, two was with them. Ben, the agent, Helped me get a good price on the one I went for, after losing out a few times before in BAFO. Then there is Babs / Barabara who manages the completions… she is the best person you could ever have to help complete. What a professional and a powerhouse, thank you !

I exchanged on my new house yday after a protracted and complex chain. I have a week before my mortgage offer at 2.4% lapses ( which would be replaced at 6%). Barbara at S&G was so helpful and only for her constant chasing, we likely would not have have exchanged. She was a delight to deal with. Highly recommend her and the team. Greg Reading

I have recently sold a property in Reading through Sansome & George. I can honestly say that they are the best estate agency I have worked with. The star of the show was Barbara who was very quick to respond, always ready to give advice and was generally a lovely person to deal with. My sales process was not straightforward due to minor delays with the buyer and tenant. Barbara managed both sides of the problem, took away the stress and helped me bring the sale to a smooth conclusion.

We found our first house that we purchased together through Sansome & George and our initial viewing was arranged with Becky who was a pleasure to meet and could not do enough to answer our questions and make us feel comfortable throughout the viewing and negotiation process. We made an offer and Becky kept us always informed up until we reached an agreement with the vendor. At this point, Becky passed the selling and buying process over to Barbara. Having considered ourselves lucky to have dealt with Becky, we quickly realized that Barbara was equally supportive and friendly, as well as totally in control of every minor detail and keeping everyone on track. At times, it seemed that Barbara was working for us just as much as she was for the vendor, chasing up solicitors and answering every little question we threw at her. We always knew that Barbara would be on hand for speedy answers and accurate advice, along with a wicked sense of humour. We did not have a property to sell so we hoped that the buying process would be quick and easy but these matters are always complicated with so many people involved. We are very grateful that we found our house through Sansome & George because Becky and Barbara made the entire process a lot easier and quicker than it might have been if we had been dealing with someone else. A huge thank you to everyone at Sansome & George for helping us to buy our first home together and for keeping us positive when solicitors were dragging their heels and frustration kicked in. An extra special thanks to Barbara who kept us laughing in difficult times, as well as making sure that everyone did what they needed to and kept us calm. We wholeheartedly recommend Sansome & George. Merv

It is difficult to express in a few sentences the unspeakable atrocious service me and my family received from Sansome & George when renting a house from them for the last year until July 22. The lack of professionality was appalling from day one, evidenced in delivering the house in a lousy condition of dirt and malfunction, following by an incompetent response from this letting agent. To make things even worse, Sansome & George tried to keep, without permission or legal right, some of our rent deposit that I had to fight back through the Deposit Protection Service. The DPS finally resolved that they were entitled to only GBP 35 out of the GBP 639 they clumsily were trying to keep. Sansome & George are definitely people you do not want to deal with.
