I cannot rate Sansome and George highly enough. We were in two minds about whether to sell or re-let our property due to amount of time and effort it would require on our part to carry out maintenance works required for a new tenant. We were reassured by Roz they would take care of everything, and they did. Special thanks to Becky who ended up with quite a task on her hands. Everything was turned around speedily and efficiently. An excellent tenant was found, and the whole process was stress free. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

We sold and bought via Sansome & George last 2022 and the whole team were amazing. Organising an open house for our sale and patiently showing us around others until we found our perfect house. Barbara was incredible and dealt with a very complicated chain and without her chasing and dedication this would not have gone through. Barbara was unwell and continued to work to ensure we got to completion. Wouldn’t have wished for a better team and would recommend to anyone. I have also just let a property via Beth and couldnt recommend anyone enough.

Go us to completion! We had a few viewings with Sansome & George in our search for a home in Tilehurst and these were always conducted in a friendly candid manner which we appreciated. Jane Hayes pulled out all the stops to get us a viewing on a property that had just gone on the market. We were very keen an got an offer accepted the next day. The conveyancing was somewhat problematic with many challenges and frustrations but Barbara was tenacious and pragmatic in her pursuit of a positive outcome. She kept us informed throughout and was proactive in ensuring that all parties were doing their utmost to keep things moving and achieve completion before Christmas. A rocky road but we were in our new home on 16/12/25. S&G have also be very helpful in recommending trusted trades people - very much appreciated when moving to a new area.

I flew in from Texas because I had to sell a property my sister left to me. So it was never an easy thing to do! Sansome did an excellent job. Efficient and knowledgeable. Barbara and Anthony were the ones I worked with. Both were excellent. We had to deal with a 6 hour time difference and many other things that were out of the ordinary. .The house is sold. Just great people. As a landlord - super professional over the couple of years of using them. And recently - after having some lousy tenants who left our place in a right mess - Beth and Roz went successfully into battle first with the tenants and then the ombudsman - presenting a solid case to them and getting most of the deposit money back to cover the damage left by the tenants. Quite simply, decent and fair minded people that are much better to have on your side of the fence!

Having recently sold the family home through Sansome & George and also been involved with the purchase of a further property through them as well I'd be happy to recommend the team. The process was long and rather drawn out, with plenty of obstacles to overcome but Charlie and Barbara kept us informed and guided where appropriate. As others have already said Barbara was great and really helpful when it looked like things were grinding to a halt, with an extremely long chain and some last minute issues arising it was good to know Barbara was keeping everyone on their toes and making sure things progressed as soon as they could.

We expressed interest in a property through Sansome & George and submitted a number of offers, but never received a response. Despite repeatedly chasing them up, we were completely ignored and eventually gave up on the property altogether. I do wonder if these offers were even passed to the vendor? Throughout the process, we felt judged and looked down upon, seemingly because of our age and appearance. It was clear they didn't take us seriously as buyers. We later purchased a home through a different estate agent for £160,000 more than the asking price of the property we'd originally pursued, proof that our budget was never the issue. To make matters worse, Land Registry records show the property we were interested in through Sansome & George ultimately sold for £12,500 less than what we were prepared to offer. Their lack of professionalism and snap judgements cost their vendor a significant sum. A reminder never to judge a book by its cover, and a valuable lesson in why good estate agents treat every buyer with equal respect.

We bought our first home through Sansome and George and couldn't fault them at all through the entire process. Our situation was made a bit more complex by renting the house we intended to buy (yep! It actually does happen) which meant we dealt with S&G's sales and letting teams. All were fantastic to us, super speedy and persistent in coming to a resolution and genuinely lovely people to talk to. I have to give the biggest and loudest shout out to Barbara! Thank you for everything you've done for us, your persistence (especially with the roofers!) stamina and creativity would not have enabled our initial rental agreement to keep us from being homeless nor pushing the sale through to complete after all these months. This was such a positive experience with Sansome and George - Thank you!!
