GoogleI am one of Grant Management's neighbours and am finding them quite usless. Complicit is probably the best way to describe them or maybe just plain and simples 'taking this piss'. EPIC FAIL!!

GoogleDO NOT RENT FROM GRANT PROPERTY. Absolute disgrace of a company. Our flat was a state when we moved in, yet they had the cheek to charge us £430 for a "professional clean" upon moving out. They didn't fix a single thing despite numerous complaints. The most disorganised and thieving company out there. DO NOT RENT FROM GRANT PROPERTY.

GoogleGrant property have to be the most disorganised and useless letting agency out there. Our flat has had a few problems and it takes them months to solve the problems. Huge mould stain in one of the bedrooms has been there for 5 months now. Ridiculous don't be led in by the quality of the flats because the service is shocking

GoogleSpent 2 years with Grant Property and they were fantastic! Really helpful and quick with their responses. Made everything clear from day one. Having just emailed regarding receiving my deposit back: within 15 minutes it had been sorted. Great modern and clean accommodation for students or those working as I done both!

GoogleI rented from Grant property for two years, I had many peers who also rented from from so this review isn't single sided! Moving in was smooth and pleasant despite being charged a illegal £50 admin fee. Maintainance was terrible and often i'd be left chasing up the problem several times. The main problem came when we moved out though, trying to get your deposit back was near on impossible! Some of their damage/ cleaning claims were so outrageous and cheeky, that when I got independent quotes they were a fifth of what grant quoted! I was warned about them before I moved in but liked the property so took it anyway despite a hole host of terrible reviews! My advice; do yourself a favour and go elsewhere! They're not worth the hassle!

GoogleI'm still in one of theirs properties in Edinburgh. They keep putting the rent up every time but do nothing at all in the flat. Our roof has been leaking since the day one we move in and they still haven't done anything about it. It's been almost 3 years. They do their check ups every half a year but really do anything after that.

GoogleWe had an excellent experience with Grant Property. Staff were great, really responsive and helpful-especially our property manager. I'd definitely rent from them again :)

GoogleIn the beginning the communication was very poor and we were often left with little or no information. We regularly did not receive replies to emails and phone calls went unanswered. however after moving in face to face meetings were very helpful and we feel are concerns were heard by a helpful member of staff.

GoogleVastly prejudiced against the interest of students and do not treat them as responsible adults. Secondly they take a very long time to respond to repair requests, which took as many as 3 or four reminders before any action was taken. They really only seem to be looking out for their own interests and not that of the client (at least student clients from my own experience).

GoogleCurrently renting with grant property and have not had a fault yet! Very friendly staff, rapid response via email which is very helpful when being a busy student. Always there to make sure everything is spot on, very informative especially as this is my first move which is very appreciated. Can't fault, looking forward to using this company in the future.

GoogleStudents be very careful when taking a tenancy and make sure you inventory report everything. Note they will charge you money from your deposit irrelevant of how clean/careful you were in the flat. Make sure you note every minor sent in the inventory report at the start, be pedantic and protect yourself against them scamming money from your at the end. Challenge them on everything they try and claim from you, they rely on getting away with scamming students, don't make it easy for them, we saved £250 by countering their deluded claims. I will say they were good throughout the tenancy and I would have given 4/5 stars if they hadn't tried to scam us at the end

GoogleI rented a flat in New Town Edinburgh via Grant Property for nearly six years. During that time I found them to be responsive to any issues that arose and open to contact the owner with any requests for improvements. I had no problems with GP at all and would rent via them again.

GoogleAt the start I was concerned due to a friend advising me against leasing with G.P., but I have been pleasantly surprised. They are well organised, very professional and everything has been going very smoothly. The agent Scott Nielson has been very approachable and easy to contact, helping me with issues during the application process. Thank you. It took quite a long time to have the electric shower repaired, however GP was always quite communicative, and i think they did try to arrange matters as fast as they could. After 8 months now I am in another city. After reminding them deposit came back smoothly and all through the SafeDepositScotland scheme, thus I have no issue there. Also they were readily available for a landlord reference. I leave 5 stars with pleasure. Riccardo

GoogleWhen we first viewed the flat we inmediately fell in love with it. It was kept in excellent conditions. Because of it being recently renewed there were a few issues at the beginning (which is normal!) and these were quickly fixed. We have had no major problems with Grant Property. I would specifically like to thank Caeleigh for being so friendly and helpful. Our deposit was returned just a couple of weeks after we left, an acceptable amount was used for cleaning reasons.
