GoogleMy brother and I put our holiday let property on the market through Samuel Woods. Russell valued our property a lot higher than 3 other estate agents .. all local to the area. We have recently just completed the sale and we can’t say enough about the sales team in Shrewsbury. Someone was always there to give us up to date information and advice. The sale went through so smoothly. I wouldn’t use another estate agent.

GoogleI recently bought and sold through Samuel Wood and the service was impeccable. My purchase was fraught with problems from beginning to end and the Shrewsbury sales team were amazing. They went above and beyond to keep all situations calm, and gave excellent advice. I don't think we would have got through it without them! My sale was so smooth and the communication to my buyer through them was brilliant. I wouldn't use anyone else! Highly reccommended!

Every one of the staff we had dealings with gave of their very best. Their unwavering help, support and attention to detail we found reassuring. Everything was dealt with quickly and efficiently and we were always kept up to date with how things were progressing. All the staff have specific roles and I found each to be knowledgeable, courteous, polite and professional which encouraged my confidence with the selling process. From day one I felt I'd made the right decision to engage them for the sale of my property, the sale of which came swiftly. All advice and guidance offered along the way helped to make the journey less stressful. Sue Dean was particularly good at allaying any concerns, boosting confidence in the process and keeping everything cheerful and positive. They offered advice on conveyancing lawyers, I accepted one of these and also found that to be a very positive experience. GoogleI engaged the services of Samuel Wood, from August to December 2020, to sell my property in Shrewsbury. My experience with the team at Samuel Wood was a positive one from start to finish: from the valuation visit, to the quality of the selling details, the scheduling of viewings and the advice and support I received throughout, it was professional and high-quality. As with most house-moving experiences, the sale/purchase transaction can be tricky at times, mine was no different and the sales team really helped to keep the whole chain alive by being involved in helping to clear the blockages when they occurred. From previous experience my general view of estate agents is mixed and not having used Samuel Wood before I was very pleasantly surprised at how good it was. I also think it is a bonus that it is a local company, rather than a branch that has to defer to a head office, and this helped things to happen quicker. Overall a very positive experience and I would use Samuel Wood again (which probably says it all really).PositiveResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism, Value

GoogleIf you haven’t moved house in a number of years- in our case over 25 years, then you can be forgiven for forgetting just how stressful and problematical the whole process can be at times. It certainly was for us and those were the times we were so, so grateful that we had chosen Samuel Woods as our agent because whenever we needed them, when we needed advice and when we needed calming down they were always available, unquestioningly-attentive and extremely considerate as to our requirements at any given time. We were at all times keep fully informed as to how our sale was progressing and they were expert at dealing with other professionals and others involved in our chain, challenging as that was at times !
