We are sorry to hear that you had difficulty putting your items into storage due to a removal company monopolizing the lift and trolleys, we will reach out to staff and the company to ensure this doesn't happen again, and what can be done to ensure that all customers have fair use of the lift and trolleys even at busy times. Dear Moamen, Thank you for sharing your detailed feedback about your experience with Safestore at our Edinburgh Fort Kinnaird branch. We truly value your input and are committed to addressing the issues you've highlighted to improve our service. Your online reservation was only part of the process of storing with us as we require a few pieces of ID and a signed contract to make sure that your items, and everyone who stores with us are secure and properly looked after. We understand that when you are in a time crunch it can seem like these details aren't important, but they are there on your behalf. We are sorry to hear that you felt frustrated and impatient with staff while they were trying to get your storage sorted. We like to ensure that customers are happy with the size of unit they have been quoted on and understand fully the different short- and long-term contract options so that there are no surprises as sometimes information can be missed when doing a quote online. In regard to insurance, you are correct that if you don't wish to take on our Store Protect you need to provide evidence before moving your items in with us. As we do apologise as we do have some newer sales consultants they were unsure how to know what insurance was acceptable and reached out to other more experienced staff members to get things done quickly and as thoroughly as possible. That being said, we will review things with our staff, and ensure they are brought up to speed as swiftly as possible. We understand that when you are in a time crunch it can seem like these details aren't important, but they are there on your behalf.
