He helped answer many queries myself and my partner had and couldn't have been more helpful. Not a bad word to say about this guy. Credit to his company. GoogleBought our first home with SJ Smith. From viewing to completion they were terrific. Answered all questions, gave us all the information we needed and due to our chain taking a while they were always chasing people on our behalf. At times we felt like we were pestering them for updates cause we were keen to move but they were always super friendly and kept us in the loop. Can't fault them. Would recommend. Thanks very much.

GoogleAs a landlord trying to rent my property I dealt with Michael in the Lettings team and found him to be polite, professional and courteous at all times. He was incredibly proactive and showed several prospective tenants the property within hours of it being listed. Excellent service, would definitely recommend and will use SJ Smith from now on to manage my property portfolio.

GoogleI would have no hesitation whatsoever, recommending SJ Smith Estate Agents as a very professional and friendly service. Chad dealt with my sale personally and from the very first enquiry call I made, he was immediate in his response times, keeping me fully informed, all the way through the process. I would never have believed that in 3 hours from photographing the property, he would have managed to get a viewer and subsequently an offer! Everything was a wrap 3 days later with me accepting an offer for the asking price!

GoogleWe used SJ Smith to sell our property. We had previously been on the market with another agent for approx 4-6weeks and received no offers at all. We received multiple offers through SJ Smith within the first two weeks and eventually agreed a full asking price offer with Louis via a cash buyer. We have also been well looked after by Louis with our subsequent search, he has been extremely patient with us and never given up. We hope to buy through Louis and SJ Smith in the future. Chad and Rob were also great throughout both our sale and continued search. They have been the most pro-active agent in Ashford that we have registered with by a long shot.

GoogleI'm so pleased we chose SJ Smith to sell our property, they have restored my faith in estate agents! Chad, Louis and Nicola were all professional, knowledgeable, friendly and so helpful. They promptly answered every question we had, reassured us when we were worried and helped out in any way we needed. Nicola was absolutely brilliant and made me smile on a bad day with her cheerful and reassuring emails! I know she was doing the same for our buyers, keeping them updated and happy. I wish these guys were closer to where I live, as I would love to have used them for the current sale of my own house!

GoogleI bought and sold through SJ Smith's in Ashford recently and can highly recommend them! They were really helpful and totally professional throughout the whole process, and nothing was too much trouble. I dealt with Chad the Manager, and Rob, Louis and Nicola who is based in the office. They are a fantastic team, and Nicola was brilliant at chasing things up, and giving me updates etc. They accompanied every viewing, gave you the feedback, and always return your phone calls! I can 100% recommend them, especially if you are thinking of selling your property! Thank you Chad and your amazing team!!

GoogleUnfortunately we experienced nothing but disappointment from SJ Smith. They never managed to get a single offer on our property in three months. When we switched agent we received two offers within two weeks! They simply do not have a network which would mean they could find buyers from outside the region. They also left my front door unlocked after several viewings and we found them extremely difficult to deal with. In my opinion- avoid.

Sales progression needs a little improvement but Philip was beyond excellent to close out and just a pleasure to work with.

GoogleIt was less than 10 days from initial meeting to accepting an offer on our house. We worked with both Simon and Amir, and both have great passion for their jobs, which helps give confidence, both as a buyer and as a seller. In terms of the review mentioning not having a wider chain, we certainly didn't find this a problem, in fact we had 20+ viewings in the first week, so couldn't have coped if there were any more!!! And the fact they are focussed on a smaller area, means they are experts in this area, which was the key reason we chose SJ Smith over others. Thanks!

Also dealt with Philip who was equally informative and professonal throughout. Great professional service and would recommend Amir and his team to anyone selling in Staines

GoogleSurprised by the 1 star review Lisa posted, almost as though she has mixed up her agents - or possibly a long, long time ago? I live in Kent and I am a director of an estate agency business there, so I know what to expect and what good should look like. (I have no professional relationship at all with SJ Smith) Jay and the team were always professional, diligent and polite with excellent communications throughout the process regarding viewings and feedback. My property was listed with my own agency and SJ Smith (following another Staines based agent which did not go well). Viewings were exponentially greater and dare I say it, the communication much better. We had a couple of buyers that, for no fault of the agent, fell through - its been a long process. They have kept tenacious, patient and optimistic through many viewings. We have now found the right buyer at the right price. I have absolutely no reason to doubt that they will progress the sale diligently (for the people out there who have not sold recently, this part is much more important than the marketing) - but I will post a subsequent review should they not. Anyway, in summary, an excellent agent with a great team - you will not go far wrong, they are really good. And don't be tempted with the 'cheap' offerings out there, experience suggests that once you bolt everything on, it is no cheaper, and you will not get the follow through. Also, agency fees pale into insignificance if you have a good negotiator getting the right price and then successfully progressing your sale. If you want moving to be cheaper, talk to your MP not your estate agent - HMRC are the culprits! PS. all gone through now - would not hesitate to recommend

Any questions we had were instantly answered and it made the whole process stress free. By the end of the process Amir felt like more like a friend than an estate agent. Simon Smith made selling my house very easy. He was honest and upfront with all the details. Within an hour of signing up with him he had matched a potential buyer with my house. An hour later they were viewing my property and by the next morning it was sold. I moved 12 weeks later. After a very disappointing try with an on-line agent it was reassuring to have Simon with me doing the job that I was paying him for.

GoogleHonestly the most helpful estate agents we have ever had the pleasure in dealing will. Dan from lettings has all the time in the world to sit down and talk to you and explain things to you. Would highly recommend this estate agents to anyone looking to rent/buy in the surrounding area.
