We highly recommend the whole team at Ryder and Dutton Royton, special mentions for Tom, Michaela and Emmy. From putting on the market, finding our buyer and updates and communication through out the whole sale was outstanding with added care and compassion as it was my Dad's estate. Being an estate agent ourselves from a different area it was refreshing to come across an outstanding agent and whole team at Royton. We could not recommend you highly enough.

GoogleVery disappointing experience with this estate agent. We enquired about a property in M9 that we were interested in purchasing, but our emails were ignored and we received no reply or call back. When I eventually called them, the person who answered came across as extremely arrogant and unhelpful. We asked a reasonable question regarding the lease, as we have previously purchased similar leasehold properties within the same estate and are familiar with some of the mortgage lending issues that can arise. In particular, many leasehold properties in that estate have a ground rent review every 10 years, which can be problematic for many mortgage lenders unless a deed of variation is agreed. We simply wanted to know whether the seller may be open to resolving this issue by doing a deed of variation before we spent time and money progressing with viewings, surveys, legal work, and mortgage applications. Instead of listening properly or offering to check with the seller, the agent immediately dismissed the question and repeatedly told us to speak to our solicitor. The tone throughout the conversation was rude and unprofessional. As experienced property investors who have dealt with hundreds of agents over the years, this was one of the worst interactions we have had with an estate agent. Potential buyers should be treated with professionalism and basic courtesy. Very poor communication and a disappointing experience overall.

From start to finish, the Ryder and Dutton Estate Agents of Oldham's service, professionalism, and support provided by the team were exceptional. This was a particularly complex and emotional sale, made even more challenging as I have lived overseas for many years. Throughout the entire process, the team remained patient, understanding, and highly professional. A special thank you goes to Laura Chadderton, who was absolutely outstanding. Her communication, guidance, and dedication were second to none, and she worked tirelessly to ensure I achieved the best possible outcome. Although the process became long and drawn-out through no fault of Ryder & Dutton Estate Agents Oldham, Laura and the wider team always kept me informed, responded promptly to every question, and consistently went above and beyond my expectations. Selling a family home from overseas could easily have been overwhelming, but Ryder & Dutton Estate Agents Oldham made the process far less stressful and handled everything with care and professionalism. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for an estate agent they can truly trust!
