GoogleIf I could give 0 stars I would. They don't address problems reported to them that arise with the property during a tenancy and then try to take the money to fix it from the bond upon the tenant vacating the property. Renters beware!NegativeResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism

GoogleAt first they were helpful but when we viewed the property their representative didn't know anything about the house, very unprofessional. When we went to sign up they didn't have any answers ready for standard questions like where the keys were for the windows, instructions for things in the house like how the heating system worked. They omitted to say that the gas fire in the house was capped off because it was dangerous until I specifically asked the question and that the landlord would not repair or replace it. They only seemed to be interested in getting the place rented and it was very much buyer beware and just get it signed for and stop being a pain by asking questions or expecting them to work for their fee.

FacebookMe and my partner decided to buy our first house in January after saving for the last couple of years. We viewed multiple properties from different agents but just felt like a number and wasn't inspired by anything we had seen. I then signed up to the Richard Kendall's YouTube page because we enjoy looking at the internal videos and got a notification the next day with our dream house! We called to book a viewing ASAP and have been dealing with Elizabeth Cooke ever since! Liz was honest throughout and managed our expectations from the very beginning. We faced a couple of hurdles throughout and Liz was there to calm our nerves and offer support / advice. We feel that communication has been fantastic and would highly recommend Liz if you are looking to buy or sell a house. As first time buyers the whole process has been a breath of fresh air.

FacebookLet me share my experience in dealing with Richard kendal and Catherine. We cancelled over agreement with Richard kendall and received a phone call from Catherine and i was told we can't advertise over property with any other company and if we decide to sell over property we be liable to pay Richard kendal selling fee. After reading contract it was clear enough to see she Lined and trying to bully us. After sending few emails we had no reply and been told she is not available to take my phone calls. Very very disappointed in Richard kendal and advice i was given. Do not trust this company and never again we will deal with Catherine and Richard kendall. The will under value your property to get a quick sell and charge the fees.

We are sorry you have found reason to complain regarding the service you have received from ourselves. We have held a number of conversations with you directly over the past few days and have sent you clarification on the agreement which the owner of the property you refer to, signed with Richard Kendall Estate Agent. Catherine responded to all the queries you had and in addition, you spoke with other members of staff who assisted you. Our terms are quite clear and we have previously forwarded you details of The Ombudsman Scheme together with the Company’s complaints procedure. We are sorry that you still find it necessary to complain in this manner, however we can only point out that our terms apply as per the agency agreement you signed with our ourselves.

FacebookCould not recommend Richard Kendalls enough. Mandy has gone above and beyond throughout this process, from giving us updates to comforting us when we were anxious. She really has made our selling experience brilliant and a lot less stressful. We certainly could not of done it without Mandy. Thank you so much from both of us x

FacebookI sold my house through Richard Kendall it was a first class service which helped keep it as stress free as it could be. Catherine was very helpful and kept me informed throughout the sale of my house. I would 100% recommend them if you want to sell your house fast with very little stress 10 out of 10 from me. I would not recommend Richard Kendalls to sell your house, due to poor service and if want update they are very slow. If raise a complaint and ask for an update they ask what complaint.

Further to your review we would comments as follows: Your sale was agreed on 3rd September after you pulled out of the sale with your purchasers in August. You completed on 27th November. Your transaction took 12 weeks from sale agreed to completion, which included delays for your purchasers mortgage valuation due to Covid 19. Given that sales are now taking as long as up to 16 weeks, and in many cases even more due to the current market pressures that we are all facing, I would argue that the sales progression was reasonable and efficient. You originally put pressure on the whole chain to complete on 20th November, with consistent emails to your negotiator, some of which were entirely inappropriate. You changed this date at very late notice and at this point informed us you would not be dealing with Richard Kendall as you would be liaising directly with your buyer. However as you will note, you continued to email us and we continued to act on your behalf to a successful exchange and completion. At no point have you written to us to complain about our services. Throughout the process your only complaint was quite clearly with your purchasers solicitor. You emailed us over a week ago asking for a response to your written complaint, we asked for you to re-send your complaint as we had not received one. We still have not received a copy from you, however you have found it necessary to leave a review on TrustPilot.To confirm, the negotiator acting for you on the sale of your property was prompt, proactive and supportive to you throughout the entire process and responded to all communication whether it be by email or verbally. We are sorry you have found it necessary to complain in such a manner, however as always should you wish to discuss this matter personally or provide us with a written complaint, we would be more than happy to address any issues you have.

Brilliant customer service. If Liz is helping you buy you’re house you are in good hands! However, everybody else did also seem lovely, messages always got passed along, phones are always answered in a pleasant manor. Extremely happy overall :)

FacebookWe have recently used Richard Kendall to sell our house and after a stressful process (not related to the estate agents), we can honestly say Richard Kendall have been brilliant throughout. Liz, our agent, was in regular contact, nothing was ever too much trouble for her and she even got involved in aspects that weren’t strictly hers to get involved with, just to try and help us. We are now buying a house advertised through Richard Kendall and are hopeful that they can be as helpful in the buying process.

Communication is very poor with this outfit, they do not return call's, talk to each other within own office, pass messages on when calling, and give wrong information out about feedback on viewing's, very shoddy.

The service we received from Liz was brilliant and she went over and above to help us with every step of the process. She kept us up to date with everything that was going on with regular updates and was always proactively keeping track of the sale. I would highly recommend Richard Kendall for their fantastic service.
