GoogleCame in to value our property. Valuation provided was around £35k less than 3 other valuations and we sold our property for well over their valuation. Unsure whether the gentleman doing the valuation was useless or felt he could get a quick sale on our property. Would not use in the future and would not recommend to others. Valuation was done very promptly which is why the 2 stars rather than just 1.

We are sorry that you have found reason to complain regarding the service we provided to you, although we do note that at no point prior to your post did you contact us to raise your concerns directly. We see that we were invited by you to carry out a market appraisal of your property. We are also aware that at this time you were in direct talks to agree a private house exchange with one of our clients. Whilst we appreciate our client paid a higher price for your property than our valuation, it was nothing close to the £35,000 figure as you have stated in your post. It is our experience that private house sales and especially house exchanges, sale prices can sometime become irrelevant as it can be more about the individual circumstances of both the buyer and the seller. Furthermore, the property was never placed on the open market for sale to test the higher price level as recommended by other agents, so we do feel that your comment is not entirely justified. GoogleA very professional and friendly company from the owner down to the letting agents themselves. It is very rare for staff to have such positivity and loyalty from an owner but it seems to work well for this company. Treated me with extreme professionalism through out and went the extra mile through some very diverse circumstances.. Thank you for the exceptional service .

GoogleIt started well, dealing with them pre signing was good all the way to actual signing. Sadly as with many places this is where the service seemed to stop. We were told we needed to supply details and photos of the property if we felt there was damage that we could be held accountable for, of which there were multiple cases in our opinion. We emailed but got no response from them for weeks, we approached them on multiple occasions to have someone visit the property to view these issues since they had given us no response verbally or by email and on both occasions no one turned up. When speaking with the company about my disappointment in how they had handled our request, the person I spoke with was totally unapologetic and even tried to suggest it was our fault. Since then the few times I have spoken with people over the phone I have been surprised at how poor their customer relations seem. It's a shame that so many places seem to lose all interest once you signed on the dotted line.NegativeQuality, Professionalism

Not pleased with my experience over a 6 month conveyancing period. From having to speak to multiple representatives to poor reply times and communication; my first time house purchase ended up falling through despite being allocated a 'senior' agent to handle the process. When viewing other properties, I will try to use another agent in the future.

Like many others it would seem they have bad experience with Richard Kendall, blatantly lied several times on the phone have no morals or ethics whatsoever. Actively taking offers on a house that was marked as sold and lied to vendor and potential buyer. Would not recommend if they were the last estate agent in England.

FacebookI would absolutely highly recommend Richard Kendall's Estate Agent, Liz Cook went above and beyond for my mum's house move and we really couldn't have done it all without her. We actually sold mums home with another company (who were majorly disappointing) but Liz Cook was the estate agent for the property we were buying, and she was amazing every step of the way. She kept us up to date with everything we needed to know, helped us with information our own estate agents forgot to help us with, and really gave five star customer service. Thank you so much to this company, we would highly recommend you to anyone we can 👍

The Ossett office have been incredible helping me sell my house. I was lucky that the first person bought the house however when things started to get delayed with buyer and solicitors they were great at chasing both sides. Also the pictures of my property were amazing! Thank you Suzanne and Donna

FacebookI had never sold a house before and really wanted a trusted estate agents so I got A Lot of valuations. As soon as the gentleman came I had a good feeling about Richard Kendal estate agents. The pictures were amazing (made even me want to buy my house) and were included in the price. They quickly produced the brochure and put it online. Most of their offices are in and around Wakefield. My house was in Dewsbury so I was concerned that with it not being their area that it would impact the amount of viewings but lucky me the first viewers bought it. The selling process after here took longer than I expected but Donna and Suzanne were great at keeping me informed and chasing the relevant people. Thank you my new house is out of area but hopefully if I ever come to sell it you will have expanded with an office here.

FacebookIf you’re thinking of moving into 20 Hollin Drive then don’t because the landlord isn’t a nice person. I’ve lived in many rented property in my life but I’ve never ever had a complaint from any landlord when I’ve vacated the property. I’ve left it clean/tidy if not cleaner, but this landlord thinks it’s acceptable to take a large chunk of our bond to have cleaners in for something that doesn’t need cleaning- it’s a complete insult to me and my family. I do not recommend.

FacebookWe are now coming to the end of our house sale with Richard Kendall and it hasn’t been without its twists and turns due to our buyer not listening to instructions that were given to her by the team at Northgate. Liz oversaw our sale and was excellent in every way, she did everything she could to sort out all the problems that were thrown at us.... if you’re thinking of selling or buying I couldn’t recommend Liz and the team more. 100% professional ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

FacebookRecently moved into a new rental property via Richard Kendall’s in Ossett. Amy was very helpful during the process and thorough when we came in to sign the lease and collect the keys. After moving in we received a very detailed inventory that was carried out at the property. Would recommend Richard Kendall’s and Amy for your next move!
