Living in a listed building

Living in a listed building is lovely, but selling one isn't so easy. Our first agent clearly knew little about Listed buildings and overvalued the house greatly. When we swapped to Kendall's the valuation was more realistic and there was a constant dialogue about the best way forward. Our key worker was Mandy in the Ossett team. She remained diligent and optimistic throughout even when a Sale was lost last summer. Even though the house took a long time to sell we had total faith in her resilience, efficiency and understanding. We are glad of this because she did sell the house for us and remained totally committed to the process right up to the very last detail on the completion date

Superb service when we had a problem!

We only have a brief, but brilliant experience of Richard Kendall. Specifically, Liz Cooke, who was amazing in her dealing of a major problem with solicitors which occurred on the day of completion. She was highly competent, reassuring and supportive, going the extra mile and seeing the problem through until it was resolved - after closing hours. We were extremely grateful to her for her professionalism and understanding.

Wakefield house sale

I've just completed quite a complicated house sale as an Executor, following a bereavement. Throughout this difficult time these agents provided excellent service and were diligent, approachable and professional. Special mention to Mandy who made the experience much easier and more pleasant than it could have been. Recommended.

Professional; friendly, local estate agents

We recently sold our house in the UK before moving to the USA. Donna and Suzy assisted in the process and helped keep the whole thing going and minimised all stress in the house selling process. Our house sold very quickly and Suzy and Donna took care of everything from there to completion. They really pushed at the end as we were due to get on our flight to the USA and needed a prompt close on the house. We didn’t doubt them for a second! And even better, we barely lifted a finger!

Richard Kendall’s, a first class service.

Richard Kendall’s provided an excellent service from start to finish. David Savage provided a very professional and informative market appraisal, answered all our questions and give good advice on how best to market our bungalow. We were then passed over to Karen Marijewko, Senior Property Consultant, she was very professional from the start making sure that all viewings were followed up, all feedback was immediately shared and offers presented. Once the offer had been accepted she was amazing at keeping us updated and always chased any queries that cropped up. Without her half the time we wouldn’t have known what was happening with the buyers and solicitors. I would highly recommend Richard Kendall, David and Karen and also the other girls who answered the phone and promptly dealt with our queries. Thank you all for a first class service.

Where to start....

Where to start......we have used Richard Kendall for almost 30 years buying and selling 6 different properties over that time. On every occasion we have received the most professional, courteous and friendly service. Our last two dealings were managed by Liz Cooke who is the most delightful and professional person to deal with. We actually requested Liz for our latest sale because we knew we’d be in safe hands, she didn’t disappoint! We hope our next purchase is a Richard Kendall property so that we can be assured it’ll be handled professionally.

100% Recommend

We recently sold our home through Richard Kendall and had amazing service from start to finish, that I must mention all involved! David valued our property and was so polite, friendly and informative. Andy took beautiful photos and had the vision to show our home to its full potential. And Donna provided excellent service through the sales progression to completion and went the extra mile to, not only keep us in the loop at every stage, but to chase all other parties involved in the onwards chain to speed up the process! We won’t be in a rush to move again but if/when we do, we would absolutely use Richard Kendall again! Thank you all so much!
