GoogleSuperb service! From start to finish, kept us up to date at all stages of our sale and acted as a valued intermediary when we hit a couple of obstacles. Stephen was the model of professionalism, excellent communicator, and even found a property for our tenant to facilitate our sale. Cannot recommend this firm, and Stephen in particular, highly enough. Many thanks again! Stuart and Sharon

GoogleWe dealt with Steve for the purchase of a property who was everything you'd hope for in an estate agent. Honest and genuine and always at hand on the phone or via email. Would definitely recommend him, he definitely helped keep the stress levels down with his professionalism and reassurance!

GoogleThe Richard Godsell Team have been a great help with selling our parent's home. They have dealt sensitively and professionally with us at all times during the lengthy probate process. The team remained enthusiastic and positive about the property despite having to re-market the house when our first buyer withdrew from the sale just prior to exchange.PositiveResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism

GoogleWe had a very long and difficult sale of our house due to problems with our first buyer. There was nothing Alisatair or Stephen who were handling our sale could have done about it but they worked tirelessly to try to bring the sale to conclusion. Right from the start they were professional, knowledgeable and helpful, always keeping us informed of developments and liaising with all parties to try to move things along. We felt their valuation was spot on and led it to much interest and several sensible offers. We would highly recommend their services.PositiveResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism

GoogleThey were extremely professional and friendly. Steve sold my house within a few weeks without complication and fuss. After the house was sold Steve & his colleagues worked really hard to ensure that everyone in the chain remained happy. I would highly recommend them.PositiveResponsiveness, Quality, Value

GoogleRichard Godsell were acting on behalf of my vendor, but I felt their support and kindness throughout the whole process. Their hard work, professionalism and experience shone through and kept a delicate chain alive. To the point where Steve had to step in and take charge of the whole chain to ensure the exchange, for which I will always be very grateful. Steve and Alistair exceeded my high expectations and went above and beyond for me. They were reassuring, patient and constantly kept me in the loop. I can’t recommend or thank them enough for all they have done. They are a real credit to the profession.

GoogleHaving used a number of estate agents over the years I can honestly say that selling my property with Alistair and Stephen has been an absolute pleasure. They have gone above and beyond to help at every-point (much more than they needed to) and from start to finish helped in every way they can to make the sale go smoothly. I would definitely highly recommend them.

GoogleWe bought a property that was in a chain, Richard Godsell Christchurch branch were the estate agents dealing with the top of the chain. We were at the bottom of the chain and had time issues as were in a short term let which was running out . Steve was fantastic and regularly updated us, chased everyone in the chain at the top and liaised with their conveyancers to ensure things progressed. I would highly recommend the branch and a big thanks to Steve especially. We're very happy in our new home and wouldn't have got here without all his hard work.

FacebookExcellent customer service, Rebecca and Stuart were fantastic to deal with. The communication throughout the process of selling my flat through them has been oustanding. Very satisfied customer!!

FacebookA big thanks to Stuart and Rebecca and of course the rest of the team for selling my flat. What started as a nightmare from the 1st and 2nd buyers pulling out ended up with a 3rd buyer who was somewhat awkward in some areas!! Stuart and Rebecca pushed hard and fought my corner chasing buyers solicitors and the buyers themselves throughout and kept me informed of every little detail even though I’m on the other side of the world!! A huge thanks to godsells in southbourne. I am very impressed with their experience and professionalism Will be using again without hesitation Leo Deevy 😉

FacebookMany thanks to Rebecca at Richard Godsells for arranging the sale of my mum’s flat. She kept us fully informed of progress in the sale. When Rebecca was unavailable everyone else in the office was helpful too. It’s a difficult time when someone so close has passed away but Rebecca handled matters extremely sensitively. I definitely recommend them.

FacebookFrom our first dealings with Richard Godsell, especially Alastair and Steve, we have been so impressed! They have gone above and beyond to help us with first, finding a property to buy, then all the way through, they could not have been more helpful. Chasing solicitors and all parties involved, to push the sale through in the time scale we needed! I can not recommend them highly enough as estate agents, but also great guys too! Thank you for everything……even the flowers that have just arrived, amazing!

GoogleThe team at Richard Godsell Southbourne were superb from start to finish. At all times professional, friendly and always keeping you informed. They kept everything moving despite the pandemic challenges they faced as well as the ups and downs of housing buying/selling. Stuart Mason was pivotal in keeping the chain going and this was reflected in all the staff that work with him. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them and to use them again. Thanks for all your help in helping us to get our dream home.

GoogleVery happy to leave a recommendation regarding the excellent support and service offered by David Midgley and the team. From viewing to completion in under 3 months, we consistently felt we had David’s full focus, with swift responses and regular updates as the process developed. His conveyancing recommendation of Letchers in Ringwood was an excellent one (and particular mention there of Sean Reeves, who did a superb and efficient job in a very busy period for property transactions). In a lockdown period that limited travel, David was incredibly helpful, offering very flexible support (e.g. facilitating electrical and gas inspections; professional cleaners) and holding keys for us post-completion until we could collect them. We are very grateful for the excellent service.PositiveResponsiveness, Professionalism

GoogleThey say that moving house is one of the most stressful experiences. You're not wrong. This year has been so stressful for so many in so many ways. It took a while to get their and at times it was so frustrating with solicitors not doing their job and hiding behind Covid excuses. Fortunately we had Steve on the case. He pulled out all the stops and kept us up to date ensuring that the chain of 4 all fell in to place. I think without Steve pushing this we still would not have sold. So a big thank you to Steve and Marina who kept us up to date. I would recommend them as they were proactive and utterly professional throughout the process.PositiveResponsiveness, Professionalism

GoogleI can recommend the team at Richard Godsell whole heartedly, they have been fantastic. Responsive, clear communication and really able to guide us through the conveyancing process - I think this is often overlooked when choosing an agent. If they hadn’t been ‘on it’ I have no doubt our chain wouldn’t have survived. They really know their stuff - thank you.PositiveResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism, Value

GoogleWell, a great experience, after a very professional and knowledgeable initial valuation from Alastair McCall got us going, interest came along quickly and a sale was agreed. Steve Leigh-Bryant then took over and ran the sale through to Completion. It was lengthy due to unforeseen circumstances, however my buyer was very patient and Steve ensured she and I were kept closely informed, which is probably the reason we all stayed together and on track. From a seasoned Chartered Surveyor in another part of the Country, this is praise indeed, well done team and keep it up...
