A long post, but detailed and honest! Having used Richard Godsell a few years ago and receiving exceptional support and service, instructing them as a highly regarded, long standing estate agent with a remarkable reputation in the area ticked all the boxes for me. On both occasions I dealt with David Midgley. David gave his honest opinion, he was kind, patient, understanding and extremely professional and I felt he acted in my best interest at all times. He kept me in the loop with every detail, went above and beyond to deliver everything we agreed and everything he promised.. David found a buyer within 6 days and negotiated a fair price for me. I also felt he treated us both as a seller and buyer with respect. I also took David’s advice and used a local solicitor who Richard Godsell have a good relationship with and everything went smoothly and efficiently and everyone worked as a team. I personally could not have asked for anything more and I would highly recommend David to anyone - you won’t be disappointed! They say, buying and selling can be stressful, but I think, choose the right agent and let them do their job! Completion on the property took just 9 weeks!! (Yes! - you have read that right!!) Thank you David and your team - you are a credit to the Estate Agent industry.

After 9 months of searching, having 4 properties fall through, missing out on so many houses for whatever reason, we are pleased to say, today we completed on a lovely 1920’s home in the heart of Christchurch. I am absolutely delighted with the service provided. I sold my house this summer and moved abroad. Needless to say that this added even more pressure on everyone than a "normal" house sale since we had to proceed at fast pace. David and his team were simply amazing. They provided a realistic evaluation and made sure that only buyers can view the house that are in a position to proceed with the necessary funding in place. After only one viewing we had several offers and a few weeks later, the new owner has moved in. David was always very responsive and kept the solicitors of both parties on their toes. On deciding to sell our house we immediately went for Godsells as the most established local agent in Christchurch. The sale of any property can be stressful but with a realistic valuation and expectations we entered the market. We bought a property that was in a chain, Richard Godsell Christchurch branch were the estate agents dealing with the top of the chain. We were at the bottom of the chain and had time issues as were in a short term let which was running out . Steve was fantastic and regularly updated us, chased everyone in the chain at the top and liaised with their conveyancers to ensure things progressed. I would highly recommend the branch and a big thanks to Steve especially. We're very happy in our new home and wouldn't have got here without all his hard work.

A big thanks to Stuart and Rebecca and of course the rest of the team for selling my flat. What started as a nightmare from the 1st and 2nd buyers pulling out ended up with a 3rd buyer who was somewhat awkward in some areas!! Stuart and Rebecca pushed hard and fought my corner chasing buyers solicitors and the buyers themselves throughout and kept me informed of every little detail even though I’m on the other side of the world!!
