Excellent service from Reeds Rains Haxby while recently letting a property. Karen Cocker was oustanding in every way, approachable, accomodating, informative and a great communicator. The whole experience was made easy from start to finish and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend or use them again.

They took care of everything including dealing with difficult property managers and tenants at the end of a tenancy to making sure we had someone to clean and refresh the property before sale. We can't thank them enough for making sure our house sale went through and a property that's been in our family for generations went to someone who would love it.

Reeds Rains Liverpool BranchI paid a holding deposit on behalf of my daughter, she had advised the agent that as she had no credit history on file it would probably fail and therefore offered to pay 6 months rent in advance. they told her that they would contact the landlord to see if this was acceptable. after confirmation that this was okay with the landlord we paid £137 holding deposit to secure the propery and take it off the market to which they did. After the credit check came back as failed (to which she had already advised it would) the agent then told her that they would not allow her to rent the property. The property was then put back on the market and my daughter contacted them again and told them that she had a Guarantor they still refused her application but now I have lost my holding deposit. Just to advise anyone else in a similar situation please know that it is unlawful to keep a holding deposit as stated on a lawyers website as follows; (A holding deposit is money paid when you’ve agreed to rent a property, but haven’t signed a contract. If you pay a holding deposit you’re guaranteeing you’ll take up the tenancy. If the agents accept it they’re guaranteeing they’ll let the property to you. Usually a holding deposit is set against a security deposit, or is refunded when you move in. If the agreement is cancelled, and it’s not your fault, the holding deposit should normally be returned to you). just to let you know Reeds Rains estate agents I will be taking this to Housing ombudsman services so I suggest you refund my money.

This is based at the Ossett branch. The worst business I have ever dealt with!! Going through renting a house currently and the way we have been dealt with is absolutely appalling. The most miserable, unprofessional, unresponsive, utterly useless people I have ever had the misfortune to deal with.Not only have we been continuously lied to but now our calls are even being ignored.Tracy who we dealt with originally was just atrocious, never gave us a call once to update us so we called the branch ourselves every day to know what was going on. Only to be told now that we have transferred over to the Wakefield branch that she has done absolutely nothing and even gone against what we have been told!!!When Tracy isn't in I dealt with Emily who I thought was doing everything she could to ensure we got the keys at the weekend. Not only do we have a time limit for our current property but I'm 4 months pregnant and she knew all of this and getting married in a weeks time then going on honeymoon for 2 weeks out of the country, all of which was stated at the time of viewing the property. However, after our calls being ignored all day long we arrive at the Wakefield branch to be told that everything Emily said she was going to do, she did none of it!!!The way Emily dealt with my partner was just ridiculous, no use of words but actually shrugged her shoulders and rolled her eyes when he asked her a question. This company is an absolute shambles and a joke and we have not 1 good thing to say about them.They do not care about anything at all and make it unbelievably difficult and long.Never have we ever had something go on for so long and with no end in sight.The worst customer service I have ever received in my life and will never ever use them again for anything!!!!

I sold my house with Reeds Rains Pemberton and used their suggested solicitors (Stephenson's). We were so pleased with their customer service, professionalism and efficiency over our selling process. There were some bumps in the road and complications that arose (never from our side) but they were handled extremely well by all, especially Emma. We are now happy in our new home, all thanks to the support that we received throughout from Reeds Rains - they really did go above and beyond!

Reeds rains wrexham, overall not a pleasant experience dealing with Simon. Travelled a long way to view a property, submitted two offers with no response, no willingness to negotiate on our behalf with the vendor. Recieved a voice mail to say property sold to a cash buyer who's offered considerably more (it wasn't, 5k more) then said 'ideal really'. Not what you want to hear when you think you have found your dream property. Both me and my partner found him rude and obnoxious on the phone. I'd go as far to say I would actively avoid purchasing a property listed by reeds rains Wrexham.

Reeds Rains has been looking after my property for almost 15 years now. Although I live far away from home, I was kept updated as much as possible, quick responses every time, given advice with anything I needed. They have been very efficient, caring and prompt in all aspects....routine inspection, finding tenants and dealing with emergencies. Bottom line is: Brilliant service professional, friendly and trustworthy.

Just used Reed Rains to re let a property in Acomb and the service was Brilliant. In particular Alex Simpson ensured that not only did we find good tenants but also had an effortless transition from previous letting agents. He was extremely prompt, courteous, professional and made sure that both we and the tenants were happy. Felt like we were in safe hands. Cannot recommend Reed Rains Acomb enough.

Looking for somewhere to live is serious business. It’s really not appreciated when an estate agent does not bother to respond to your queries about a house that you’re seriously interested in. Before the response is “well why didn’t you just call?” - I am partially deaf and struggle on the phone. My preferred method of communication, where possible is obviously email. It’s been 3-4 weeks and I have heard nothing, and yes, I check my junk box.Unprofessional and disappointing.
