GoogleI was responsible for selling my mother’s bungalow in Clevedon and consulted various estate agents about the sale. I was highly impressed by Craig’s professionalism, knowledge and the way he dealt with my mum clearly explaining the whole process. He was methodical in arriving at a valuation based on his sound knowledge of Clevedon’s property market. I was very pleased with his valuation but slightly sceptical that he could achieve a sale at the price suggested. The marketing of the property was slick and the 3D mapping of the property certainly showed it off at its best along with very well taken photos and all placed on line for everyone to view.
The staff in the Office were extremely friendly and helpful and kept us updated throughout the whole process and talked us through the various paperwork required.
I decided to use Reeds Raines recommended solicitor “Simply Conveyancing” for our legal process and they were a joy being extremely competent and ensuring things were proceeding at a decent pace and I never had to chase them for information. I would highly recommend them.
Following the sale I got a lovely call from Craig to check we were fully happy with things which was a nice touch. He didn’t ask for feedback but I feel compelled to give a very positive rating for their whole package. Moving house was a very stressful prospect for my mum but Reeds Raines and Simply Conveyancing made the whole process as painless as possible and I was more than happy with the selling price they achieved. Well done to all concerned.

Not had a great experience with this estate agents, i understand that they are not allowed to tell you that the house is a repossession but the house i purchased had a garage that the estate agent didnt tell me about even though there were garage keys on the bunch of keys they had, that then cost double the amount of solicitors fees. After i put an offer in on the house and i had got a mortgage for it i got a sales memorandum through with all the information on stating that it had 28 days to complete which i was never previously told, buying a house is a huge process and not being told certain things and left in the dark about things is really not professional or great for the buyer so i wouldn't recommend Reeds Rains to anyone or use them again myself.

Truly awful experience…so unprofessional. Total lack of communication. On completion day, went to drop keys in and office was all locked up! We had been in a few days before to make sure of arrangements and were told there would be someone in their office at all times on completion day. Eventually Luke arrived - he had been for lunch, but there was no-one to cover…unbelievable on a Friday, the most popular day of the week for moving house. Whoever is the manager in Chester needs to realise that we are paying good money for a service, when it shouldn’t be unreasonable to expect someone to actually be on the premises to receive keys from their customers. It gets worse…our buyer went later to collect the keys and the shop was locked up again! It’s 5:30pm now and they still haven’t been able to get the keys. No phone calls to either ourselves or our buyers before hand to explain what was going on - we had to do all the chasing to find out why we were being let down. Begs the question ‘what are we paying for?’ Please avoid this Estate Agent.

The Reed Rains staff are professional and helpful.They do have a problem with the company they are partnered with to do identity checks, Landmark. From the payment link not working properly, I couldn't view the privacy policy and access the payment screen, to receiving payment reminders every day (six and counting) even after they sent me a receipt for my payment. The Landmark help line didn't reply to my query and Reed Rains staff responded but didn't make a difference.As is often the case good frontline staff are let down by poor IT or partners

Dreadful staff and experience. Took a deposit of over £200 to apply for a rental property. Staff member Caroline was rude and aggressive on the phone when she suggested we hadn't completed our application in a timely manner, even though the delay and problem was with the checking agent they use, and then refused to return the deposit when the application was turned down due to adverse credit, which we had declared.They prey on people desperate to find a home. Absolute shysters - stay away from them at all costs. They will find some reason to retain your deposit at the very time you can ill afford to lose it.Update 12/10/24I was promised a refund minus a £50 ‘admin fee’ by the Glossop branch manager, which I accepted on the basis that I’d at least recoup some of the money they took. However it’s been over 10 days, and I have received neither the refund nor any update about when to expect it. Dealing with them is a degrading and disheartening experience.
