salford quays barance were the worst letting agents we have been unfortunate enough to have dealings with, if you can avoid them I suggest that you do. the move in inventory was a work of fiction with not a single fault or damage mentioned and the flat was filthy with numerous items of damage and disrepair that they are now trying to claim from us after moving out and leaving the place in better condition that we moved in Jessica was so tardy at arranging repairs that we gave up. never again would we deal with these people

As a landlord that needs to downsize Reeds Rains are so professional, I’ve given them three properties in different times in the last few months and all three have gone under offer nearly making asking price. As more properties come vacant I will be doing the same offering them to Reeds Rain.Well done for the staff.

Reeds Rains Estate Agents Durham City81-83 New Elvet, Durham DH1 3AQjust nowPoor communication and low level serviceWere going to rent a property and asked the following questionsWe live 280 mile round trip from you nearest branch is there any other option to prove right to rent?Charlotte’s response was , where is the nearest RR branch where you live… Thought I had said in the question 280 miles round trip you idiot.She didn’t appear to have read the question at all.We flew back into Manchester and contacted RR Durham advising there was a branch in Widnes, Cheshire and as we had our passports with us suggested we could call in Saturday. RR advised they couldn’t contact the branch. We took matters into our own hands and contacted St Helens and advised them of the situation and could we come in to scan passports which they agreed…Why are we doing all the running around when paying RR to act dopey and do nothing….There is a fantastic university I’d Durham so why do they have to employ morons in RR Durham…Surely there must be students looking for part-time work!!!!Worse estate agents ever used

I went into the Coventry branch today the lady who was in there was very helpful but the man was very rude and told me that the lady was very busy and I need to go I was not being rude myself I was asking questions

We understand that when the lady identified that your query had no connection to any of our properties or indeed our company and that she suggested that you contact your own Estate Agent that you already had a business relation ship with. Extremely Disappointing and Stressful ExperienceI had the worst experience with Reeds and Rains. The property was listed on the market for £850 per month, but we agreed on a rent amount of £800. I paid the advance rent of £800 to Reeds and Rains, and I was instructed to pay the security deposit directly to the landlord. All parties signed the tenancy agreement at the agreed amount of £800.We moved into the property with all our belongings, but just two days later, Reeds and Rains contacted us, demanding that we re-sign the contract for £850. They have repeatedly threatened me and my wife, saying that if we do not sign the contract at the higher amount, we would have to leave the property. This has caused tremendous stress for myself and my family.With over 150 years of experience in the UK market, I never expected such unprofessional behavior from Reeds and Rains. I am extremely disappointed and would not recommend this estate agent to anyone.

Not had a great experience with this estate agents, i understand that they are not allowed to tell you that the house is a repossession but the house i purchased had a garage that the estate agent didnt tell me about even though there were garage keys on the bunch of keys they had, that then cost double the amount of solicitors fees. After i put an offer in on the house and i had got a mortgage for it i got a sales memorandum through with all the information on stating that it had 28 days to complete which i was never previously told, buying a house is a huge process and not being told certain things and left in the dark about things is really not professional or great for the buyer so i wouldn't recommend Reeds Rains to anyone or use them again myself. I have also later found out that although the ad for the house sale said Council Tax Band B it is actually a C so, these should not happen as its all extra cash for the purchaser

extremely disappointed in the fact they sent out flyers to our immediate neighbours, informing them that our house was sold, before any contract was signed, before we told our neighbours personally. this upset us deeply & there was absolutely no need to do this nor was any permission sought by us. a terribly poor decision by reeds rains in our opinion. totally soured our faith & trust with the Company.

GoogleI was responsible for selling my mother’s bungalow in Clevedon and consulted various estate agents about the sale. I was highly impressed by Craig’s professionalism, knowledge and the way he dealt with my mum clearly explaining the whole process. He was methodical in arriving at a valuation based on his sound knowledge of Clevedon’s property market. I was very pleased with his valuation but slightly sceptical that he could achieve a sale at the price suggested. The marketing of the property was slick and the 3D mapping of the property certainly showed it off at its best along with very well taken photos and all placed on line for everyone to view. The staff in the Office were extremely friendly and helpful and kept us updated throughout the whole process and talked us through the various paperwork required. I decided to use Reeds Raines recommended solicitor “Simply Conveyancing” for our legal process and they were a joy being extremely competent and ensuring things were proceeding at a decent pace and I never had to chase them for information. I would highly recommend them. Following the sale I got a lovely call from Craig to check we were fully happy with things which was a nice touch. He didn’t ask for feedback but I feel compelled to give a very positive rating for their whole package. Moving house was a very stressful prospect for my mum but Reeds Raines and Simply Conveyancing made the whole process as painless as possible and I was more than happy with the selling price they achieved. Well done to all concerned.
