GoogleSuperb service. We arranged to see a property on the marina at Portishead. Called Reeds Rains to arrange the viewing, I live 120 miles away. 2 days before the viewing i received a call to confirm. On the 6th at 10am we were greeted by Sue, she gave us her card and info on the apartment, we then looked at a 2nd apartment (we had not pre booked a viewing) as Sue had a viewing at 10.30. On Monday i received a call to ask for my thoughts on the properties. Not pushy and Sue was very polite, clean, smart and organised and she listened to my requirements. Neither apartment suited but i hope they find something for me soon. Superb service all round : )

GoogleMy experience with Reeds was very good and I recommend it. In particular Rozzanna was very gentle, professional and available to show me the flats I needed to see, and even more. She was very precise in answering my questions and explaining all I needed to know to carry on in the process. The flats I saw were very clean and as described in the ads. I appreciated the visits and I think I can recommend Reeds (and Rozzanna) as partner in finding your flat.

GoogleI have been using Reeds Rains as a landlord for the past few months. They are a very professional local company and I am satisfied with the service so far. They promptly found me tenants and were in touch throughout the whole process of setting up the tenancy and beyond. They let me know if there are any issues and they are able to suggest and provide local contractors that work quickly and economically. It is easy to communicate with them as you don't tend to get moved from one person to another and have to wait.

GoogleWe purchased our first buy to let property from Reeds Rains 7 years ago, it went so smoothly we decided to leave that property with them to find tenants - tenants were found after exchange and before completion! We have since bought more properties and Reeds Rains have always found tenants within a few weeks. They do all the hard work for us and we never have to worry. The team are efficient and always helpful. We would have no hesitation in recommending them.

Arranged a viewing but when we arrived no estate agent turned up. Phoned the estate agent who said they had spoke with my husband (which never happened) and also said that we had booked in for the day before which also wasn’t correct because it was a day that we could not make and I wrote the appointment in my diary while on the telephone. Will not make any arrangements through this estate agents again. How do they expect to sell hours when they can’t even get the viewings right

Our recent experience of the Heald Green branch was professional and courteous, right up until you sign and then when actions are not delivered and you need to highlight it, the service unraveled. From that point on it was downhill. We experienced ad hoc updates (with the exceptions of the automated ones) a selection of deviations to the truth, an overestimation of the price we could achieve, 'non authentic' (invented??) prospects and in the end I couldn't trust the branch manager unless it was in writing. Something I have never had to resort to. Ultimately we had no choice but to go to head office to explain (in writing) and wait for their investigation outcome.*Special note to the one proactive person who did anything for us was Leah. It was Leah that got viewers to the property, followed up with all parties and was truely motivated to sell our lovely home. The complaints team who after (15 working days plus the xmas and new year period) finally came back to me and permitted us out of our fixed term contract, from that moment (within an hour) the property was withdrawn - proving they can act fast if they want to!Now found a local independent agent, who knows the market and the meaning of service. Use at your peril!

Would never go near these guys again. Disaster when property check was competed at start and end of tenancy (pretty much non exsistent) and trying to get the deposit back (after 3 months) was a nightmare. Sandi the end of lease consultant sent 3 emails asking for bank account details and received 3 responses giving the details of two account numbers and advising that we have seperated so need seperate payments. The super helpful Sandi Williams then emailed 9 days after processing the payment (10 weeks after vacating the property) to say the money had been released. After 3 emails she refused to disclose the account / accounts the funds had been transferred to and only over the phone could she confirm that the funds were not transferred to my account ... the same one in the 3 emails she had been sent. Not sure what it is with the arrogant level of customer service provided by estate agents in this country but it is amazingly pathetic.

Moving from Birmingham to Preston I found this lovely two bedroom flat which I decided to go for through read rains. I was very sceptical about the extortionate fee of £240 that they were charging but I was told that they went the extra mile and this is why the fee was more than what other state agents charged. In addition to this there would also be a fee of £120 a year. I was told that a tenency check would be performed which included a credit check and Work reference. When asked would I get my money back if the checks failed for what ever reason, I was told yes if the landlord decided to pull out but failing the credit check all that would be required is a guarantor. I told them that I work to the medical Locum and they were quite happy with this. A few days later I get a phone call from reed rains telling me that my credit check had failed due to an anomaly on my credit file which wasn’t even in my name. I was also told my work reference had failed due to working as a medical Locum despite me having already told them of this. I was given the option of putting down the guarantor which I agreed to. Two days later I get an email from them telling me the landlord had decided to put the property on the market and that it wasn’t available to me any more. They refused to give me my £240 back even though I was given the option of putting down a guarantor in the event credit check failed. I will now pursue legal proceedings against these pirates through the Small Claims Court. I highly recommend anyone looking to move to Preston not to use read rains. They are thieves and the service is absolutely appalling. They mislead you and tell lies so stay well away.

Recently sold my property with Reeds Rains Penwortham. I know I am a high maintenance customer and put pressure on them to sell my house quickly as I had found one I wanted to buy. Rachel and her team really pulled out all the stops, there were 4 properties for sale at the same time on my street all with different agents and I felt the professional photos really made a difference, they carried out an open house which subsequently sold the property for asking price. Once the sale was agreed they kept me informed every couple of days. I couldn't recommend Rachel and her team enough.

Reeds Rains in Longton have been absolutely fantastic. We were on with another agent for 3 months with no luck, changed to Reeds Rains and they sold my property within a week and managed the sale through to exchange. I would recommend them to anyone looking to sell their property in the Longton Area.

LAZY INCOMPETENT IDIOTS!Spent 6 weeks trying to view 6 properties with the plan of purchasing 2 at the same time.They obviously thought i was joking as they didn't manage to arrange one viewing in 6 weeks. Rang James from the Chesterfield road, Sheffield branch 6 weeks in a row before giving up. James is a useless waste of oxygen full of false promises, Good at sounding busy but is really doing nothing to help you. Some of these properties have been on the market for a year and a half and are still on the market today. God help you if you have reedrains trying to sell your house for you. They turn away cash buyers and don't even let people view the house.
