Enquired about a property they have as "available" on rightmove only to be told it is stc and nearly ready to complete. Several weeks later it is still showing as available so enquire again and am told the same again but told it will be removed, a few weeks later the same again and now over 6 months later is still showing as available!

In December 2020 we found our dream property in Warlingham via Park & Bailey. The survey indicated several issues which required further investigation including a further report from a structural engineer. The agent requested a copy of the original survey which I agreed to but gave the clear instruction not to share the report with anyone. In March 2021 with just one week to go before exchange of contracts the vendor informed us that she was no longer selling to us. The agent then informed us that the vendor was running another contract. I asked for confirmation that our original survey had not been provided to the vendor. They said it had been sent it to the vendor but had been done so “in error” because the vendor shared the same first name as one of their staff . A truly awful experience.
