GoogleOur seller used Redbrik to sell their house. The Staff were very helpful throughout the process. A special mention to Holly, the sales manager who was continuously chasing things up to keep the process moving.

GoogleThroughout the whole sales process Andrew Sedgwick was excellent with clear communication between our vendor, solicitors and us. I would 100% recommend to use Redbrik Crystal Peaks and could not thank Andrew enough for his care and attention to anything we’ve needed throughout the process

GoogleI am writing this after being the purchaser of a house sold by Redbrik. Right from the outset I was not happy with the attitude of their sales person. Especially during the negotiation period. I made direct contact with the seller and it was immediately clear they had been telling lies on both sides about offers and rejections. We were both fuming! The worst part was when Redbrik said I had to pay nearly £600 to secure the sale with them. What!? I was told this was to pay for the searches they had already completed, which I was fine with, but the rest was admin fee! I questioned this over and over and asked them to send me a breakdown justifying the additonal admin fee, I got nothing other than "if you dont pay it, you cant buy the house" ....what!!!!? When I informed the seller they were fuming at how they were handling the case and how I was being treated. I will never ever use Redbrik to sell a house and I will avoid any property being sold by them! 16th Sept reply - You state that it creates greater transparency for the purchaser at an early stage? ...when i moved in the gas central heating and gas fire was instantly condemned! This cost in excess of 6k to put right. The house was filled with the previous owners belongings and took x1 full removals van and 8 trips to the tip to clear out all their belongings includings stained beds, mattresses, carpets, desks, drawers and wardrobes!!! Why have i never had to pay this SecureMove fee with any other estate agent? I appreciate having the searches complete is a good idea, but the rest in my opinion is just a con! ...i could understand if this was kept if the purchase wasnt to complete or pulls out the deal, but if it does complete the admin fee should be returned to the purchaser!
Hi, Thank you for updating your review. The additional information has now allowed us to identify your purchase and look back at the transaction in detail. Firstly, we were genuinely shocked to see the photographs showing the condition in which the property was left by the seller. Unfortunately, the condition in which a seller leaves a property on completion is outside our control as estate agents, but we sincerely hope you raised this with your solicitor and followed their advice at the time. With regard to SecureMove™, we are very proud of the process and the difference it has made for thousands of buyers and sellers. Your own purchase completed in January in just 38 days, across the Christmas period, which is an exceptionally fast transaction and a great example of the benefits that having searches and key legal information prepared upfront can bring. SecureMove™ was developed by Redbrik, which is why you may not have encountered the fee when purchasing through other estate agents, although similar upfront-information and reservation models are now being adopted by agents across the UK (and even another estate agent in Chesterfield). The £595 Reservation Fee covers the searches, Buyer Information Pack and the additional work involved in preparing key information upfront. If a seller withdraws from the transaction, the Reservation Fee is refunded to the buyer. The principles behind SecureMove™ are also closely aligned with the Government’s recently announced reforms to the home-moving process, which are moving towards more comprehensive information and searches being provided upfront, alongside earlier commitment between buyers and sellers. SecureMove™ does not currently include a survey or home condition report and therefore cannot identify defects such as those subsequently found with the boiler or gas fire. Buyers should take their solicitor’s advice regarding any additional inspections, certificates or surveys they require before exchange. We are sorry that, despite the exceptionally quick completion of your purchase, you have been left unhappy with aspects of your experience and particularly with the condition in which your new home was left. GoogleThey don’t even let you know you’ve not got the house you applied for. If you chase them on the rare occasion you can get through they’ll tell you no, otherwise it’s silence. Terrible customer service.

GoogleI recently purchased my new home through Redbrik. My experience of dealing with Matt, Joanna and the team has been a real pleasure. From viewing the property with Joanna, putting in an offer, through to completion, every member of staff I dealt with couldn't have been more helpful and knowledgeable. My house purchase completed in such a short time, which I'm sure in part was because the searches had already been done and also the excellent communication skills from the staff at Redbrik. Sold our property within a couple of months but had the most demanding cash buyer, who wanted everything done at her pace. Andrew and the team handled everything quickly and professionally, even though we were getting extremely frustrated with her demands. Sale completed and a big thank you to all. GoogleI honestly can't recommend Redbrik highly enough. From the very beginning through to getting the keys to my first home, the service I received was exceptional. Buying your first home can feel overwhelming, but Matt made the entire experience smooth, straightforward and genuinely enjoyable. A huge thank you to Matt, who was absolutely outstanding throughout the whole process. He went above and beyond at every stage, always making time to answer my questions, keeping me regularly updated and explaining everything in a way that gave me complete confidence. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble and his patience, professionalism and genuine care made such a difference. What stood out most was how supported I felt. Matt took so much of the stress away by staying on top of everything and making sure I always knew what was happening next. As a first-time buyer, that reassurance was invaluable and I always felt like I was in safe hands. It's rare to come across someone who is so dedicated, approachable and committed to making the whole process as seamless as possible. GoogleLisa and the team were fantastic during our purchase. It wasn't all plain sailing, the owner of the property sadly passed away and a couple of days after probate was granted our buyers suddenly pulled out. Despite all this they got us over the finishing line at their end and handed us the keys at the beginning of July. 10/10

GoogleWe purchased our house through Redbrik. We had already sold our property and had had a purchase of another property fall through, so we were up against the clock to find somewhere. From the date our offer was accepted to the date we moved in was 4 weeks. The fact that the searches had already been done in the buyers pack cut a lot of time out. The communication and professionalism of the Redbrik team between each party was outstanding. The team worked their socks off and went above and beyond to get the sale through. I can't praise them highly enough and would thoroughly recommend them.

GoogleAfter selling our property in 2 days flat, my first experience of buying and selling a house got off to an amazing start! Unfortunately it didn't stay that way but that was not Redbrik's fault! Due to my husband having Alzheimers, I was on my own with all the paperwork and everything else that goes with house sales. From Hannah to start me off, Holly took over and I have to say that Holly was there for me through the thick and thin, the tears and the laughter of the eight months it took to finally complete the sale. Redbrik we're all very helpful and supportive throughout my long experience especially Holly and I wouldnt hesitate to recommend them to anyone

GoogleIt was the most difficult decision I have ever had to make, dealing with the sale of my parents home. From start to finish all staff dealing with the sale was very kind empathetic as they knew how difficult it was. The house sold within a few days of it going on the market and the whole process was done within a month having the package deal where we use banner jones through red brick ran very smoothly.
