Looking for a bigger home for my family to accommodate us had been tough and problematic for quite sometime until I came across one that was being advertised for on zoopla by RA Bennett. I requested for a viewing and provided the details needed. On the day of viewing I came across a gentleman called Ethan. He assisted us throughout the viewing and we loved what we had seen and told him that we would like to apply for the house for rental. He gave us the forms to complete and we did complete them and submitted. Ethan has been of great help. He would call, email and communicated with us at each and every stage. He would update us which made us aware of what we were doing and what was needed at time. He has been really accommodating, patience and his customer service it was EXCEPTIONAL. Thank you to Shelly as well who would call us when Ethan was not in the office. Thank you to the whole great team at RA Bennett for making the whole process easy and calming and accommodating us. If I could give less than 1 star I would. I would never rent from this or any other associated companies ever again and I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. The experience I had from the time my tenancy ended until I had my deposit partially returned was nothing short of farcical. Their lack of communication and unwillingness to help or address any of my concerns made the process of moving significantly more stressful than it needed to be. They were far more interested in money, they have no desire to provide a decent service for their tenants. I ended up losing a portion of my deposit for which was completely unnecessary cleaning purely due to the fact that I was given the run around from the day I moved out. Had I not reluctantly agreed this saga would still be ongoing and I wouldn't have had any of my money returned. They repeatedly lied about the reason for a sudden increase in this pricing, refused point blank to provide an invoice, refused to listen to any concerns I had and effectively refused to discuss anything until I threatened to seek legal advice. Only then did I receive a phone call. This person was unable give any reason or address any of my concerns, and could not tell me why I was unable to have any sort of invoice. They also lied that the landlord had contacted me when he had not. Even after agreeing to pay these (illegal) cleaning fees just so I could be done with the whole situation it still took a further email and telephone call to have my money returned. Absolute joke of an agency. Avoid at all costs. If you do happen to rent with them take photographs of everything because they will use any excuse under the sun to keep your money.

Trying to find somewhere to rent for the first time was a lot harder than expected, especially being a young couple with a dog. Be careful with them

Be careful with them. RA Bennett Stratford-upon-Avon promise everything and once you sign they don't deliver. I rented a house (for thousands), bathroom was leaking, toilet downstairs as well. Windows in a very bad condition, wind blew through the house. Cracked bathroom floor, hot water in the toilet, not working door handles and locks! They agreed to fix everything before moving in. Some they did AFTER moving in (bathroom leak) others they never did (windows, cracked floor in bathroom, hot water toilet, extractor fan, downstairs toilet, etc). Their maintenance company doesn't reply for months, then talk to you in a very unprofessional manner. We moved in in the beginning of May, after chasing them for 8 month to fix the above issues, they wanted to come and fix the windows and the bathroom right after Christmas on the 27th December. Of course we said that it's not a good time. Then they used this against us saying we're not cooperating. Again in a very unprofessional manner. We wanted to leave early because of these issues, they threatened with court. Despite all of this we paid the full rent always in time for the whole year. We moved out after one year, left the house in cleaner and in a better shape than when we moved in. Yet they're claiming £470 for cleaning and redecoration. Absolutely disgusting.

This is the most incompetent and unethical agent I have ever dealt with - after 3 months I still have not received my deposit back and they sent a million pictures of “dirt” from a room I never rented… no response when I said this was not my room… no sign of my money. If any problems with the house they will not respond either when I was renting. Terrible

Do not let/ sell with this company absolute joke. They have let a property next to me. They hired a gardener who destroyed the boundary between houses, have been chasing them for weeks to have it fixed only to be told I need to chase the gardener They hired. The ignore every email. Also left there tenants with young children without water in the property for days. Rude staff.

I won’t say which dump we had to deal with but they have to be the worst one, I have ever dealt with. Suffice to say they’ll do everything to get you to sign, and then after that, surprise surprise, flats not finished with essential work, then they state ‘well we don’t have to because you didn’t ask’ and then ‘well you’re signed now’ Also, they use questionable credit agencies to do checks as well that also ultimate people half way through applications to pay off debts that they are already paying, otherwise you can’t buy or rent. Genuinely couldn’t make this up! Absolutely shocking and not one f___ given by them. Audacity is the only word I’d use to describe them. Sadly this is that state of the UK now. No one cares at the top, so that filters down. Genuinely regret choosing them
