RA Bennett came to value my house about a week ago- apart from a pre-prepared printed valuation they were very unprepared and the one service I was interested in they didn't have the answers and told me they would arrange the expert to contact me by Friday at the latest- guess what no call back, so I called them and the agent who was dealing with me is on holiday and they'll get someone to call me............Terrible service

I can't fault R A Bennetts Broadway we have received a super professional, polite and excellent service from the team. We originally went on with an online agent, big mistake. After having met Amelia at Bennetts and giving her a run for her money with questions as to why should we engage you, we were highly satisfied with all her answers and have been absolutely delighted and reassured as to the support the whole team provide. Straight talk and a passion for selling dedicated to the buyer. This team are on it, did all my viewings and maintained a highly professional calm approach. Joe was great with viewings, friendly, professional, cheerful and provided regular weekly feedback to us on how our property was doing and made suggestions for keeping it fresh. Always obliging. Sophie and Oliver did a great job at selling my house in town. They pitched the sale at the perfect price and targeted the right prospective buyers. I had 13 offers on my house, which Sophie vetted and gave me a report on. There was no pressure put on me to go with their "known" buyers. It took approx 3 1/2 months from the agent"s initial viewing to sale completion. My only criticism of the branch would be that there needs to be someone always available to pick up the phone. Anything house related is stressful and voicemail adds to frustration. Emails were usually responded to within 24h. All in all a great service and a better experience than with previous house sales. Tried ringing the Stratford branch and left multiple voicemails never got back to us. Rang another branch who we then booked a viewing for a property on Saturday 7th March at 12:15. We waited & no one showed up. Tried calling but could not get through. Have gone to find the property to make sure we were in the right place to then discover it has actually sold. Not sure why we had been booked in for a viewing or was not told that the property had been sold so the viewing was cancelled. Not the best customer service & would not recommend using them.

Buying a property from the other side of the world (Sydney, Australia) in 6 weeks was always going to be challenging, add Covid lockdowns in the UK, and taxes for overseas investors increasing from 1st April and it seemed like it might not happen by 31 March. But it did! And in no small measure to the irrepressible Sophie Harkness and her equally talented colleague Ellie Ferris. Both ladies went the extra mile to provide pictures and videos of the property, and dealt with the 11 hour time difference ensuring that queries were turned around quickly and I always felt supported. Of every estate agent we dealt with in the house-viewing stage Sophie Harkness was leagues above the rest in her professionalism, friendliness and responsiveness. Once we decided to make an offer on a home she walked us through every stage right up until the handover and guided us through the process. She regularly checked in with us and made the process a simple and enjoyable one despite the daunting admin and paperwork we originally expected. I can't recommend her and R. A.
