Buying a property from the other side of the world (Sydney, Australia) in 6 weeks was always going to be challenging, add Covid lockdowns in the UK, and taxes for overseas investors increasing from 1st April and it seemed like it might not happen by 31 March. But it did! And in no small measure to the irrepressible Sophie Harkness and her equally talented colleague Ellie Ferris. Both ladies went the extra mile to provide pictures and videos of the property, and dealt with the 11 hour time difference ensuring that queries were turned around quickly and I always felt supported. Sophie is always positive, responsive and drives things forward. As Ellie takes over from a Lettings perspective she is getting through the work to prepare the property and find the right tenant. Thank you both, you are a real asset to your company and profession, and I am very grateful for all you have done to make this happen. Best wishes from Down Under! Hope to see you in Cheltenham when international travel starts again :)PositiveQuality, Professionalism

Of every estate agent we dealt with in the house-viewing stage Sophie Harkness was leagues above the rest in her professionalism, friendliness and responsiveness. Once we decided to make an offer on a home she walked us through every stage right up until the handover and guided us through the process. She regularly checked in with us and made the process a simple and enjoyable one despite the daunting admin and paperwork we originally expected. I can't recommend her and R. A. Bennet & Partners' services enough!

Trying to complete on a house purchase in the dying days of the stamp duty holiday was I think, for everyone involved, an absolute nightmare! We were endlessly reassured to have Kristina on our side - going in to bat for us with unreachable solicitors, lying estate agents (at bigger Cheltenham estate agents than RA Bennet) and a chain that became complicated. The team is professional, friendly and adaptable - which in an industry that often seems at best haphazard and at worst manipulative, is such a win from them. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend Kristina and her team to anyone looking to buy or sell.

Kristina and Sophie were genuinely amazing. From valuation to constant communication and updates during the whole sale process, I simply can not fault them in any way; I could not have any higher recommendation for these two ladies. The fact that I sold my second property through them after two months of selling my first one shows their expertise and professionalism - a genuine pleasure to do business with. And they managed to sell both properties on their first day of viewings by having a network of clients and understanding of their needs - and Kristina valued my one property and 11% higher than another local agent and it still sold at full price. As I have said, I could not recommend them more highly.PositiveResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism, Value

I really can't fault the service provided to us by RA Bennett during our house sale - they are exactly who you need on your side during a particularly stressful process. I don't think we would've got through it without them! Every communication was followed up with swiftly, and we felt in safe and capable hands throughout. They really went the extra mile to move the process along and keep us in the loop of everything - even frequently working and responding to our emails on their days off. Many thanks to Sophie, Shaun, Kristina and the team; I'd very much recommend RA Bennett and would use again in a heartbeat.

I’ve recently worked with RA Bennett in Cheltenham both as a buyer and a vendor and I would highly recommend them, particularly Sophie. We happened to meet her when she showed us round the house we were buying earlier this year and found her so exceptional to work with that she was our immediate first choice when putting our home on the market. Sophie is very professional, friendly, efficient and nothing is too much trouble. Many thanks to the whole team, Adam and Kristina have also been really great!PositiveResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism, Value

Typical lying horrors

I won’t say which dump we had to deal with but they have to be the worst one, I have ever dealt with. Suffice to say they’ll do everything to get you to sign, and then after that, surprise surprise, flats not finished with essential work, then they state ‘well we don’t have to because you didn’t ask’ and then ‘well you’re signed now’ Also, they use questionable credit agencies to do checks as well that also ultimate people half way through applications to pay off debts that they are already paying, otherwise you can’t buy or rent. Genuinely couldn’t make this up! Absolutely shocking and not one f___ given by them. Audacity is the only word I’d use to describe them. Sadly this is that state of the UK now. No one cares at the top, so that filters down. Genuinely regret choosing them

Great service from the team at RA Bennett, Kristina in particular was fantastic! Staff were all attentive throughout the process booking multiple viewings for us to look into renovation plans and we’re happy for us to take our time during visits. Thanks to Kristina, Adam, Sophia and Zoe for helping us make it a smooth process!

Really pleased with the service received from RA Bennett Cheltenham. We sold our home after 2.5weeks on the market, and exchanged within 2 months. Leon was wonderful at communicating with us, keeping us up to date and leading the viewings of our home. Thank you for all of your support.

If i could i would give 0 starts.

If i could i would give 0 starts. Was buying a house and they are highly manipulating they tell you that you have to use their solicitor and their morgage advisor because otherwise they wont sell you the house. Which is a scam dont believe them the seller has no say in what solicitors or morgage advisor you pick. They said the same lie to 2 other people I know because they try to push on getting their solicitors and they WILL scam you on the quote.

RA Bennett stuck their neck out when they challenged us to use them to sell our flat. They were determined to show us they could. To their credit, they did. Keeley was excellent during the sales process managing all parties involved to finalise a completion.

Sophie and the team were so great to work with, friendly and always open to my questions. Navigating buying a home is tough but this team helped push things along through the long and sometimes difficult process with helpful nudges and suggestions. Thanks again! Holly and Dirk

With clear and effective communication throughout, Sophie and the team at RA Bennetts are committed to doing right by their customers. And routinely go the extra mile. It has been an absolute pleasure working with Sophie and the team to sell two properties this year, despite everything else going on, they got it done. I would not hesitate to recommend them, or to use them again!

I wanted to find a new letting agent. Ellouise was particularly helpful, informative and efficient. India spoke to me by phone to introduce new tenant. All in all, smooth and seamless without any problems. I will use RA Bennett again.

The worst letting agents about

Avoid this company at all costs. Amey Taylor- Radmore is supposedly their lettings manager. She is a liar, a bully and I wouldn't trust her to help someone cross the road. They have stolen my personal belongings and will not allow me access to get to them. they stole and destroyed a legal document of mine. Amey has continually lied and is clearly teaching the other members of her staff to do the same.IF YOU WANT TO RENT OR HAVE A PROPERTY TO LET OUT DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY AT ALL.
