GoogleNot very helpful, tried to arrange a viewing 3 days ago on a property and a guy called Tom asked us to fill in a form before we could view which was completed and sent back within less than an hour after telling him we had sstc- he said he would get back to us about viewing. No call back so we chased it up today to be told it’s sold after we had initially called! We were also given the impression they hadn’t even viewed it, then tried farming us off with another Property coming on next week nothing like the one we wanted to view. All they could say was we don’t know what happened there. Had a similar problem 7 weeks ago when I rang about another property which they told me had sold but the buyer wanted it kept on yet were taking no more viewings? sold 7/8 weeks Ago yet This property is still not showing as sold on rightmove why? Maybe to get other houses sold and/or gazumping ? Strange and Not very professional in my eyes.

Wrote to who I believe was their CEO a T Downing concerning an issue about disability discrimination.I received no acknowledgement from him at all, nor did he reply to my concerns about a blatant discrimination act. To me if they will not take this seriously, what else will they ignore - racial discrimination, gender discrimination. On that basis people should not use this company

As a buyer who has bought a house with them, Im only giving 1 star. Here are some of the reasons why:1. So greedy, they sometime dont even tell the seller when you've given a counter offer, but kept pushing you to give better offers.2. They would give you stupid reasons to push you accepting ridiculous prices, remember to do a lot of viewings with the others before dealing with them.3. They would help the seller to promise a lot of things, but they wont make sure that the seller actually fulfill any of them. When the seller failed to fulfill any of the promises, or even failed to fulfill the contract (leaving rubbish and mess and unwanted furniture behind, missing paperwork, promised work not done, etc.) Pygott & Crone dont care and will only say its not their job to make sure any of that. This is REALLY serious matter, and very immoral. They wouldnt even offer to contact the seller for you at the first place.If you are buying a house through them, BEWARE.

Worst experience ever!!!!! Very unprofessional with bad manners and bad service, they worked more for the buyer (but who was paying their bill???? not the buyer!!!!!). We have moved previously but they made this move even more stressful than any previous moves. Would NEVER use this company again...... would suggest going to another agent!!

Absolutely atrocious customer service, including from the manager I spoke to about the numerous issues encountered. Unapologetic, and tried to but the blame on me for them not calling me back. They obviously don't want your money, don't give it to them.

In 2018, I placed an off-plan property with the Lincolnshire branch of Pygott and Crone.Whilst they found me a buyer, my own estate agent, who was meant to be acting for me, colluded with the buyer's solicitor MJP Solicitors of Norwich and developers Jackson & Jackson along with the buyer and basically stole the property from underneath me.This resulted in a loss of £14,000 deposit and an additional loss of £15,000 profit.Total loss was £29,000.The estate agent never even called ,me to offer an apologise or give an explanation. It's as if I never existed!I have all the evidence, so if any names mentioned in this review has an issue, I will back it up with substantial proof and evidence!This review will remain, as it is a reflection of the truth and corruption within the estate agents industry!

GoogleAs a purchaser of a property being sold by Pygott and Crone, I was very impressed by the help, cooperation and general friendly demeanour of all the staff I spoke to, and especially those I dealt with directly about the purchase. Although I wasn't a seller, I couldn't recommend them enough, because if they deal with their sellers anything like they dealt with us, they have been fantastic.
