Amazing team at the Grantham Branch, they all work so well together functioning as one family, warm & friendly from the moment you walk in. They have a great positive attitude and are detailed in explanations since I don't have any knowledge in buying/selling property, finance, law or construction, the terminology goes over my head, I'm also terrible with paperwork, but the team helped me so much chasing up documents & writing emails on my behalf. Because of my occupation I was not always able to make appointments, so it was super helpful I could walk in anytime to ask for advice & assistance, even online they responded so quick to emails. They also advised me on the current market going up & down to negotiate prices which actually did help in the final sale of my property. I was very satisfied with the final figure as I did not have to take a loss but gained profit from my property investment. The team interacted with my whole family which made it heartwarming, we were all making decisions together and made it less 'formal business' with more 'casual conversations' which I preferred, it made every conversation genuine knowing they had my best interests at heart. My thanks to Luke for keeping my family involved & informed. Thank you to Rosie-mae for such amazingly smooth handling of all the sales progression, so diplomatic she was inspiring. My personal gratitude & special thank you to Demi who has been with me every step of the way, an absolute angel who has kept me calm through the whole process.

Pygott and Crone have provided a great service from the initial valuation with luke visiting for the valuation to photographs being taken was very easy. Demi Miller one the senior sales negotiaters has been so helpful all the way through. Demi is very polite and has a lovely calming telephone manner which makes you feel at ease. She is very understanding and empathetic when things can become a worry when looking for your new home. Emails are replied very quickly and if she is not available her collegues at Pygott and Crone will always provide good support and advice in a respectful and timley manner. I would recommend Pygott and Crone 100% to support your move.

On the market for 2 years, 8 viewings

On the market for 2 years, 8 viewings, little feedback or thoughts about what might be preventing more interest. We asked for new details, we suggested dropping the price, we drove all the thought on how to get things moving. Viewings were often at short notice, unqualified leads either not looking in the area or hadnt an interest in our property but had been convinced to view it. Rarely anyone available to do the viewings so we had to - not ideal. When someone was available, they knew nothing of the area, property etc. Useless. When we finally left them, all they were interested in was the £300 to cover the photo/energy costs. You'll be hard pushed to find an estate agent less interested in finding the right buyer, openly saying beyond putting it on the Internet, there's little influence they can have. They need to refresh their understanding of what sales is. They act more like a checkout assistant than an estate agent. Seller beware dont even bother.....

My husband and I sold our first home with Pygott and Crone Grantham towards the end of 2025. Luke initially came to value our house and he was extremely helpful and also answered a number of queries about other houses we were viewing. Demi was our main point of contact once we started having viewing and her communication was second to none. We were kept well informed throughout and when we experienced a few issues whilst in the process of accepting an offer/awaiting exchange of contracts, she did everything she could to chase things. In Demi’s absence, we also found Tom was very helpful and would like to thank the whole team at Pygott and Crone Grantham. Poor estate agent

We have experienced extremely long delays and very poor communication throughout this process. We have been waiting since 6 October to complete on our house, with little to no meaningful progress. We were told that the case had been escalated to a senior case worker, but nothing changed and no improvements were made. Updates were minimal and often required chasing, which added unnecessary stress to an already difficult situation. Based on our experience, I would not recommend this company to anyone.

Our experiences with Pygotts team in Grantham have been nothing but positive. The sale of our property went very smoothly but further on in our chain things were not and Demi ensured that things kept moving on our purchase which took a lot of liasoning with our sellers estate agent. We dealt mainly with Demi, who was an absolute star, but also dealt with Thomas on occasion who also deserves praise for his calm and reassuring manner. I have had such a positive experience with Pygott & Crone, as a buyer. They, specifically Demi, genuinely went above and beyond in every step of the process and nothing ever felt too much of an ask. In some ways it felt like Pygott & Crone were coordinating everything in the chain for me; chasing solictors and giving me daily updates. Despite not being the estate agent selling my house (which I wish they had been)! This was my first experience selling & buying and I think without Demi, I would have felt very lost. Pygott & Crone had that personal touch, which from my experience and word of mouth is hard to come by, as most estate agents make you feel like it’s just another transaction. I also used their mortgage advisor Mark, who again made me feel like no problem was too big and I felt like I could call him about anything. He was also really good at talking things through without using technical jargon. Thank you to Demi and Mark.

Initial experience with Sales was extremely good from the detailed tour of the house through to us presenting an offer for the property. Everything during the process was fine apart from we felt slightly pressurized receiving calls to try and hasten our Solicitor if possible for the completion of purchase only to find that there was actually an issue on the Vendors side which was delaying process and of which we were not aware. Apart from this, the service and staff were excellent.

My wife and I have just completed a sale and subsequent purchase through Pygott-Crone. Tom was our first point of contact and he was very helpful, he listened and understood what we were hoping to achieve. We were aided by Tom and the team to get the property we wanted and the team then helped us sell our own property. Demi became our main contact, dealing with our sale. We have just moved and Pygott and Crone acted as our estate agents. It's so stressful whilst you are waiting to move. We were in a large chain that collapsed once and we has many problems along the way. Non of which were pygott and Crones fault. They were amazing. The commination from them was second to non. I’m currently in the process of completing a house purchase with the Grantham branch. The small team have been welcoming and helpful, from the initial viewing with Luke through to Matt and Mark at Stonebow keeping me updated with the legal and financial side.
