I can’t recommend Tracy highly enough. She has been absolutely brilliant throughout the entire transaction, professional, patient, and incredibly understanding from start to finish. What really stood out is how proactive and dedicated she was. At times when things could easily have fallen apart, Tracy was the one holding everything together, constantly chasing, coordinating, and making sure all parties stayed on track. She truly was the glue that kept the deal alive. Her communication was excellent, always keeping me updated and explaining things clearly, which made a stressful process feel much more manageable. Nothing was ever too much trouble for her, and she always approached everything with a calm and positive attitude. If you’re looking for an estate agent who genuinely cares and will go the extra mile to get things over the line, Tracy is the one you want on your side. Poor estate agent

We have experienced extremely long delays and very poor communication throughout this process. We have been waiting since 6 October to complete on our house, with little to no meaningful progress. We were told that the case had been escalated to a senior case worker, but nothing changed and no improvements were made. Updates were minimal and often required chasing, which added unnecessary stress to an already difficult situation. Based on our experience, I would not recommend this company to anyone.

Lauren has been absolutely fantastic. Right from the very start, she has been reassuring and pointed us in the right direction. There were moments during the sale that I have felt very nervous and needed reassurance and Lauren has been absolutely lovely every step of the way. I couldn’t be more pleased with the service I received from Pygott and Crone throughout the entire process of selling my home. From day one, the team was incredibly helpful, professional, and proactive. Jodi provided a detailed valuation, offering valuable information about both my property and the wider housing market. Nicky was brilliant at guiding me through the process of moving, explaining each step clearly. She was always available to answer questions, even addressing things I hadn’t thought to ask, which really helped put my mind at ease. Charlene was a pleasure to deal with when it came to arranging viewings. The care and attention she showed, along with her excellent communication, made it clear she genuinely cared about achieving the best outcome. Tracy was a godsend once a buyer was in place and I’d found a new property. Her updates were frequent, and incredibly helpful, not just regarding my sale, but also with information about my purchase and the rest of the chain. She liaised with other estate agents and solicitors, which made a potentially stressful part of the process feel much more manageable - all of the things I thought I would have to be doing with chasing updates she had already done for me. Having a physical branch where I could pop in and have a chat every time I had a question or form to complete made it so much easier and more personal. If you should call and are unlucky enough to deal with Jade Frost you're about to speak with the Karen of all Karen's of estate agents. Patronising on a whole different level. After going through the whole process of taking my info she asked why I like the converted Chapel that they have for sale, I let her know and all was going well, she asked our position and I said we have sold our property and money is in the bank and we are currently staying with friends so we are chain free and we have a mortgage in principle too, she then proceeded to ask me what our deposit is and they need the mortgage in principle otherwise I can't view the property which has block viewings, I said she can take our word that we can afford the property and have our mortgage in principle and that I'm not willing to disclose my bank about to her, she said no sorry I have to have those details. Who in their right mind tells estate agents how much money is in their bank account? its hilarious and the first estate agents to ever demand this. She didn't like me calling out her rudeness or dirty estate agent tactics and I asked her name to which she laughed refused and hung up, I had to go onto their website to find her name. I've never dealt with such a horrendous estate agency in my life.

We had previously tried two other estate agents to sell our deceased mum’s property and had very few viewings and were not impressed with their lack of contact with us. However from the first meeting with Davis we were very impressed with the service from Pygott & Crone. We had viewings booked from the very first week and he was in regular contact with us to keep us informed about the current market. Once we accepted an offer they remained In regular contact throughout the sale process. We cannot fault the whole team and would definately recommend them to family & friends in the future.

I wasn't going to write a review but seeing as how they asked me to here goes: I am writing as a seller so this applies to their estate agency business which is separate from their letting business. I have moved a few times this has been the most stressful move of the lot, partly down to P&C and partly down to Stonebow Law, the conveyancers they pushed us towards - probably because they get a pretty big kick back via their legal arm - Pygott and Crone Legal services. Despite paying them over 6 grand they did not attend one single viewing, they only arranged 3. We negotiated with our buyer and got 5k more than P&C had suggested, it was no thanks to them. They charge extra for the media pack - another 300 quid, the guys that did that were exceptional but having paid P&C over 6 grand for virtually nothing you would expect that to be included. A couple of times simple enquiries turned in to shouting matches, it was very unprofessional at times. the only time there was any sense of urgency is when they sent us the final bill within about 5 minutes of exchange of contracts. Another thing that really wound me up was when they found out after the fact that our buyers had visited the property after their initial visit. P&C phoned to ask when it was so they could retrospectively put it in the diary. I got more angry about that than perhaps I should but it was clearly so that in the event of a dispute they could claim that they had done more than they actually had. So at the end of the day they got paid over 6 grand for what totalled no more than a few hours work, we did everything. A truly horrible experience that has left a very bitter taste in the mouth. Things took far too long, I felt every time I contacted them they considered me to be a nuisance. Yes, I am very demanding when I have to work so long to pay them to do so little but I just expect to be treated like a customer - I never really felt that.
