Poor estate agent

We have experienced extremely long delays and very poor communication throughout this process. We have been waiting since 6 October to complete on our house, with little to no meaningful progress. We were told that the case had been escalated to a senior case worker, but nothing changed and no improvements were made. Updates were minimal and often required chasing, which added unnecessary stress to an already difficult situation. Based on our experience, I would not recommend this company to anyone.

Lauren has been absolutely fantastic. Right from the very start, she has been reassuring and pointed us in the right direction. There were moments during the sale that I have felt very nervous and needed reassurance and Lauren has been absolutely lovely every step of the way. Really good experience with Pygott and Crone from start to finish. Everyone was easy to deal with, kept me in the loop, and actually got back to me when they said they would, which makes a big difference. Unfortunately, we had multiple purchases and sales fall through (no fault of P&C), however they were quick on the mark every time it happened, getting things back on track and lining up new options without delay. They stayed proactive throughout and didn’t let things stall, which made a big difference during what could have been a very stressful process. They made the whole process a lot smoother than I expected and just got things done without any messing about. Felt like they knew what they were doing and gave straight, honest advice rather than overcomplicating things. Would definitely use them again and recommend to anyone.

Cannot fault, would definitely recommend

We had previously tried two other estate agents to sell our deceased mum’s property and had very few viewings and were not impressed with their lack of contact with us. However from the first meeting with Davis we were very impressed with the service from Pygott & Crone. We had viewings booked from the very first week and he was in regular contact with us to keep us informed about the current market. Once we accepted an offer they remained In regular contact throughout the sale process. We cannot fault the whole team and would definately recommend them to family & friends in the future.
