Hristiana and the team at Portico Battersea were professional and efficient in helping me with all the paperwork I needed to complete and questions I had about my tenancy agreement, and helped me quickly secure a flat that I absolutely fell in love with despite the high demand for the property. I would highly recommend them!

Medleen and the team were fast, efficient, knowledgeable and professional. I had three well known agents helping me rent my flat out and Medleen and the team at Portico got me 2 offers at asking before the other two had even managed to arrange one viewing.. I couldn’t have been more impressed.

I would like to say a big thank you to Bianca G, she was very nice and always available for our request, exceptional service, I been loyal to other agencies and never heard about Portico, but now thanks to her I know that I came across an agency of professionals! Thank you very much!

Had a fantastic experience with Bianca and the team at Portico. She showed us a number of great flats and helped us get the one we wanted in a very quick turnaround!

I've recently moved into a property in Clapham with thanks to Bianca Grudinschi for being our agent. We first encountered Bianca through another property which we were unsuccessful in renting, though disappointing she was great with us through that set-back and even more determined to help us find the right property for us, in some fairly pressing circumstances. After a couple of viewings Bianca was able to understand exactly what we were looking for and helped us find the right one, we're really happy settling in so far! Moving house is always a bit of a nightmare, thanks for making it as pain-free as it could be.

I have recently been searching for a property in Battersea and registered with Portico along with numerous other agents. The service received from the team at the Northcote Road branch was exemplary from top to bottom. Everyone was personable, knowledgeable and a pleasure to deal with. I would recommend them to anyone searching for a new home!

Possibly one of the worst estate agents I've had to encounter, they can take a while to respond to e-mails. However we are still experiencing issues with out flat since we have moved in, even after the landlord had given the go ahead for them to fix them. They don't give the landlord any feedback on what needs doing once one of their 'handymen' have popped round to check what ever needs fixing. Honestly if you are a landlord or even a tenant I'd stay well away from portico unless you want to waste your time and money. I'll never be going with them again! They are a very disorganised bunch of people.

Bianca from the lettings team was fantastic throughout the whole process of signing my new flat. Efficient in coming back to any queries and questions and helped us get over the line very quickly. Very happy with the service and would recommend to anyone!

After dealing with a few agents, I finally came across Jack at Portico and I have to say the experience was amazing start to finish. Jack put me at ease straight away, with only a few weeks to find a place I was certainly anxious! Jack reassured me throughout the whole process and I actually ended up taking the first property we saw. He was never pushy and it genuinely felt like I was talking with a friend rather than an agent! I highly recommend using Portico and if you can, Jack. He really made what I thought was going to be stressful experience super easy! Thanks for helping me find my new home.

I have always had a brilliant experience with Portico. I have had good people looking after properties and they always get me good reliable tenants. They are quick, efficient and thorough. I have used them for over 3 years now and will continue to do so! Ed has been particularly great to deal with!

this is by far one of the worst agencies I have ever rented a flat from. overpriced, they didnt give me information on things about the flat, which cost me more money, they didnt tend to my maintenance issues and respond to me for about a month. I had toilet water all over my floor and they didnt even bother themselves to abide by the terms of the contract to fix this issue. I ended up paying for it and they still have not reimbursed me. they are so rude and accusatory... I've never in my life come across such a terrible agency... please do not rent from them, trust me - if i could give them negative 5000 stars i would, not even exaggerating. these people wasted my time and money - its been 1 month and they still havnt given my deposit - the charged me 2 and a half months of rent, and i found out this is illegal in london, they are allowed to charge 1 month or so. - not to mention, i had the apartment professionally cleaned and they just happened to "FEEL" like it wasnt clean ennough and charged me another 150pounds for another cleaning - they are unprofessional theives. i'd rather be homeless then do any sort of busniess venture with these sick people again

We were looking for an investment property to purchase, arranged a viewing with this agent on Saturday a week in advance. A day before the viewing the agent tried to cancel our viewing - when I expressed my dissatisfaction, somehow their diary can fit us in again! Anyway, we went for viewing when agent was late, was specialising in letting not sales, and the other agent who supposedly prepared the brochures printed the wrong flat information... it was quite poor quality. After the viewing, I started receiving funny personal messages from the sales agent who is apparently supposed to “look after the sale” - clearly messages meant for her friends on a Saturday which is frankly just embarrassing and highly unprofessional. Despite the experience, we tried to make an offer on one of the flats viewed, the agent was rude throughout the process, making wild assumptions about me and my partner’s personal situations and overall just irritating and uncomfortable to deal with. They hold no grasp of the market, challenge our personal views and get argumentative for no reason. We eventually withdrew offer and went with another agent on another flat purchase. In my limited experience with property investments in the last three years, they are of rather poor quality and I would think twice about using them if I were the seller as it is a bad experience as a buyer. I don’t want to be too harsh to name the agent but she should not be pursuing this profession where interpersonal skills are essential. [Update: this email (see photo) is sent to me after we withdrawn and said we do not want to be communicated again! The tone and condescension of the email should simply attract complaints!]

Jack was honestly amazing, friendly and professional. He was on it, always keeping us up to date, very organised, everything was dealt with in an excellent timely manner. Within the first week our flat was let out. Portico staff all gave us I must say the best experience dealing with estate agents and we have dealt with several different ones. We highly highly recommend portico Lettings, specially Jack, he’s a star. Thank you guys for making this so easy and giving us everything we asked for.

Prompt and polite estate agents. Molly helped us tremendously and I would recommend her, and Portico, without any hesitation. Thank you.

One of the consultants at Portico has been extremely kind and helpful in my search for a new place. He has been professional and made it easier for me to search the right place. His full name is Dmytro Dyriv and also known as Dima. I would definitely recommend Portico because of him.

2 months after we have moved in, the Portico Islington office has not been able to hand over a check-in inventory at all, reportedly because "there has been a problem in the system pulling it through". In addition to this fact showing a lack of organisation, they have utterly mishandled communications and we have had to repeatedly get back to them ourselves to know about the status of our inquiry. I can therefore safely state that the agency's claim of "listening to their customers" is erroneous. Think twice before choosing to work with them.

Diabolical service for the tenants and the landlord, our landlord recently decided to leave as the amount of time it took to get anything fixed was ridiculous. We never did any paperwork without them getting numerous things wrong, really the most shambolic company I've dealt with of any type!
