The agency is very responsive and friendly. We were in touch with their agent, Meera and she was very patient and accommodating. They are good at follow-ups and catering to the needs of the customer. Would definitely recommend this agency for your next house search.

It was my first time to find a house in London as an international student. So, it was really difficult for me to find a good agency and good poverty. To be honest, I booked many houses for viewing and went through many agencies. But Meera who works in Portico in Angel, was the only person who brought a document of whole detail of the house and listened to me carefully all the time. After making a contract for the house, I found several issues in that house before moving in. Honestly, it was really stressful, and I also didn't have any idea and experience how I could deal with them properly. So, I made a phone call to her and Portico office so many times. But they willingly gave me advice all the time. She understands the difficulty of finding a house as a non-native speaker and helps me out sincerely. I really appreciate for the endeavours of Meera and Portico. If I have someone who is looking for a house, I definitely would like to reccomend Portico right away.

Portico provides great service and has interesting listings. I was helped by Molly from the Islington branch - she was very reactive and helpful. Highly recommend.

Great experience with Portico, very personable and didn't feel like your typical 'estate agents'. Even though we didn't find our property with Portico in the end, I would recommend them to anyone as they have some great places on their books and they make the whole experience of finding a home much nicer! Molly D was so lovely and knowledgeable, thank you again for all your help.

Lucy Adamson at Portico's Bloomsbury office did a fantastic job selling my leasehold flat, going above and beyond the call on various occasions, e.g. working super hard to keep the buyer on board when the head owner was significantly slowing down the sale. I would highly recommend Portico as a sales agent. KT, seller of flat in Cliffords Inn.

Humiliating, stressful and cold. Our 11 month lease was ruined by Portico's appalling property management team, in particular the cluelessly obnoxious Jake Hardy. The kitchen flooded twice, the washing machine would mix drain water with our clothes, the shower could only channel cold water, the kitchen light broke, our belongings were stolen during the initial professional clean - but suffering their hateful customer service was most painful of all. Despite frequent complaints, Portico's hearts just weren't capable of empathy, on any level. "Help out our tenants or continue screwing them over?" For Portico this was no moral dilemma, this was just another day at the office and the answer required no introspective consideration: screw them over, every time! The flat's problems went unresolved for weeks, even months. Leaving us in the dark, the cold and the miserable. At the end of our stay, we thought that was it. We're free at last! We can look for a new property, rented by estate agents who understand respect and customer service. But alas, Portico weren't finished with us. "Their backs are finally turned. Time for the daggers!" Nearly half our deposit was taken for arbitrary causes: ranging from £300 carpet stains to massively overpriced lampshades, blocked drains that preceded our stay to bills for professional cleans we had already carried out. Portico had robbed us naked. It was a character-building experience. I regret it deeply but there's little we can do now. On the bright side: we'll never have to speak to Jake again! I only hope that reading this review will keep you away from making the same mistake we made. There are lots of estate agents in London: choose one with a soul.
