TrustpilotPFP USES DRUG ADDICTS TO HARASS PEOPLE FROM THEIR HOMES
The title says it all. Places For People use drug addicts to cause anti social behaviour and force people out of their homes. If you think that a social housing provider is beyond that. Then take a look at most of the reviews here. They deliberately move in class A drug addicts to adjoining properties then they ask them to target certain people and let them run riot. I have made over 200 reports spanning 6 months of anti social behaviour about this latest drug addict to Places For People. Yet they don’t do anything because they want people to leave. Before that they had two more drug addicts spanning 6 years. But they are doing absolutely nothing because he’s providing them with a service. These people are criminals. Avoid like the plague.

Living in a places for people home is just the absolute worst housing experience of my life. I moved in to find the house had a severe flea infestation, what a battle i had for them to put this right. That was just the start of my nightmare. Cracks in all the walls, seals are coming away from the artex walls that contain asbestos, i have been told to fix this myself. Reported rats in my home on the 9th september, still waiting for this to be resolved. I contacted them to check if asbestos is present in floor tiles as they are damaged, brittle, breaking down. They said they don't contain asbestos but having seen the asbestos register, they DO contain asbestos, me and my disabled grandson have been exposed to this serious hazard. My mental health has nosedived, i am not sleeping with the stress of it all. Completed their complaints process so off to the ombudsman now.

Having lived in a places for people property for nearly three years it has been a complete and utter joke, don’t bother reporting repairs as they are constant let down with excuses after excuses, If I knew how bad they were I would never of moved in as once in it is near impossible to get out as no one will help you, when I first moved in I was with out a toilet for several months. Need repairs made on my kitchen but have waited months being let down time after time, false promises and incompetent trades turning up cluess. totally derepressed with it all now, utter waste of space, unless you owe rent you won’t get any contact, complaints are a farce, you have been warned

Very poor living conditions, reports are made around damp and tried to blame the tenant for condensation/leaving wet laundry, this was not the case. Shower pools out toilet water, damp and mould present although many reports.

Roofing work and replacement bath seem ok. Unfortunately the pointing of the brickwork to front of property remains incomplete .Also rear wall repair not completed. Also repairs to window seals incomplete.

Appalling from the day i moved in. I have had 3 good experiences with staff members (out of thousands - not even an exaggeration) a flooring guy, a plumber and the boiler guy who did the job well, in time and properly. Everyone and everything else to do with this company just causes tenants an enormous amount of stress, unless you work for them like my neighbour - they bend over backwards for that person.

We couldn’t be happier with places for people, we recently purchased a home via shared ownership. Our sales executives Charlotte & Waleed were absolutely amazing! They were both so patient and thorough, they took their time during the viewings, home demonstration and completion. Nothing felt rushed, they ensured we understood how everything worked in our new home. Everything was thoroughly explained right down to who to call in case of an emergency. From viewing to completion was a total of 2 months - It was such a fast and smooth process.

GoogleCould not recommend Places for People any less. I moved in two years ago, noted some water damage as soon as I moved and reported it. After a month nothing, came home one day, fly infestation, larvae behind all my skirting boards and mould coming from the wall. Eventually got someone out and it was a cold water leak from one of the pipes. So clearly do not survey properly. Home will a building site for quite a while. From speaking to my neighbours I got off quite lucky. Do not buy property from them. Black dots in the. Photos below are fly larvae

8 weeks on and after 4 emergency call outs us elderly kept in pitch darknesss.pfp know and did nothing.found the ground lights had a fault but sorted the top lights to come on.yet STILL we are in pitch darkness because who ever is doing the timer is making sure they are on in daylight hours.only ONE night they came on 9.30pm till 1 am..I rang emergency for a fourth time to be given excuses galore.in short the workman who did the timer cant workout a 24 clock..drugs gang wars with machettis and we are left as prime targets in pitch black.shows what pfp really think of old and disabled people.if you are old and thinking of moving into semi sheltered accomodation THIS is the treatment you get..DONT RENT FROM THESE

GooglePoor aftercare from this company, both in the apartment I purchased and the development itself. Below is a list of just a FEW of issues I have had since moving into the development: 1. Poor ventilation in the bathroom leading to dampness developing- this has been raised consistently since moving into the apartment- a variety of sub contractors have attended and failed to address the problem, they do not communicate with each other or the customer 2. Poor drainage in the shower leading to a constant pool of water forming- this has been seen by two tradespeople on two separate days and it is still an issue with no date for resolution 3. Security concerns for access into the building - two doors and a system not fit for purpose since it was installed - confirmed by community police officers who attended after multiple break ins - this assessment from the police was accepted by places for people- but they refuse to pay for it to be rectified and instead allow the factors to continuously fix it and bill the residents. They claim that there was a forced entry to the building which excuses them from paying for it to be addressed- but they have no evidence to support a break in- they cite only shoe marks on the external doors. 4. Gate is it not accessible to residents to enter from their own street address or to allow anyone to buzz in 5. Factors company - RMG- implemented (which we have to keep for 5 years after the development is completely sold) by Places for People, CLEARLY have some sort of conflict of interest based on their consistent defence of Places for People and failure to act in the best interests of residents 6. Multiple no-shows from sub-contractors of Places for People, resulting in multiple lost days of work The sales team e.g Carmela were exceptionally good during the purchase but the aftercare has been dismal. Places for People- please do not respond to this review by requesting that I call or email to discuss my concerns - as I have already explicitly stated these concerns through various communications channels you have, and it is abundantly clear you do not take any complaints from residents seriously. Absolutely disgusting ‘company’ 4 months I’ve had no sink.. 3 appointments cancelled. Was told that the first time they cancelled was because ‘they didn’t have enough funds’ then cancelled again because ‘they don’t have enough workers’. And told again today my appointment has been cancelled because there was an emergency. My son is currently waiting for diagnosis for autism and pica which is a massive danger within its self!!! Absolutely disgustin!
