GoogleWould not recommend, try to fleece you out of any money they can through fees. There is better agencies out there. Cannot wait till the new laws come in stating that no agency fees can be applied.

GoogleSpoke to Rebecca and she was very rude and sarcastic. They rung us 2 hours before hour viewing to cancel and got a backhanded apology off of them. Don't waste your time or money with this company.

We are sorry you feel the way you do Daniel but unfortunately in lettings access is sometime denied at the very last minute by a sitting tenant, which is of course very frustrating for all parties, including the landlord and ourselves, it is however totally out of anyone’s control. You suggest that people should not waste their time and their money, we would like to say no money is ever taken from anyone just wanting to view a property. GoogleAs a landlord -- Pinewood are the best in Chesterfield, and I tried a couple. I have rented two of my properties via Pinewood for over 10 years. They have excellent service and a range of fairly-priced offerings. My tenants always give me good feedback about them so I have no reason to look elsewhere - extremely happy with Pinewood

GoogleNot a great letting agency truth be told, the woman who showed us around a private rented property today had an half arsed attitude, luckily we weren't interested as the fees were way to much, then checks on the property a few hours later for it to say let agreed. Very fishy indeed, shall not be using this agency again!

GoogleIf I could give them less than 1 star then I would. AVOID like the plague! They were absolutely useless and their communication skills on letting a property is almost nonexistent. Had to keep chasing them for information. The staff there seem to be all young girls not long out of school and are not interested in helping tenants or their welfare. Have dealt with four letting agents now and these are the worst I’ve come across.

We have read your review with real disappointment, Pinewood have a very good track record with customer service and communication and it is never our intentions to provide anything other than a positive experience. With regards to the comments about staff I must point out this is not factual, our staff members have been in the property industry for numerous years and provide extensive knowledge to the company where customer service is at the heart of the business. Your complaint is being dealt with and will be replied to accordingly.

Googlea warning to anyone considering renting a property through these cowboys - DO NOT TRuST what they may say to you and get the name of any of their staff who say they are going to do something on your behalf. On recently moving out of one of their rented properties i had asked their "accompanied viewer" who showed prospective new tenants around to check with the landlord re a shelf i had put up in the attic room, perfectly in keeping with the decor whether he wanted it taking down or not, she took photos of the shelf and said she would check and get back to me. As i hadn't heard anything within a few days i phoned their office and enquired re the shelf to be told i would be called if the landlord wanted i taking down. On vacating the property Pinewood decided they would charge me £45 to remove the shelf and classed it as "damage" These company is staffed by liars and cheats, approach with care.

None of the staff within Pinewood are liars, all the guidelines for renting are provided to you at the start and the ARLA AST that you signed at the start of the tenancy also provided you with comprehensive guidelines, along with the Inventory/Schedule of Condition. All of which clearly state that you should return the property with everything returned to the correct place and all damaged repaired. GoogleAbsolutely rubbish service as a tenant, can't go on enough about how poor their customer service is. After moving out because of issues in the property the response to the complaint after has been shocking, dragged out and they only respond when you badger them to! Do not rent a property managed by Pinewood!

GoogleBy far and away the worst letting agency I ever used as a tenant. Repeated problems with the electrics not resolved until I threatened them with legal action, and the first fix to the fuse box was judged "dangerously unsafe" by the next electrician to see it (who replaced it entirely). Water running down an inside wall was not fixed or even reported to the owner and caused considerable damage by the time we moved out. Only completed three "quarterly" inspections in three years, took the owner's mail but never forwarded it to her, and made deductions from the rent for repairs that had never taken place. Truly abominable and best avoided.

We read your review with real disappointment, Pinewood have a very good track record when dealing with any maintenance issues, it is never our intentions to leave a tenant with unresolved problems nor does it benefit us in any way. Regarding the 'quarterly inspections' the number that a tenancy receives is purely down to the service level that your landlord has chosen and not dictated by Pinewood. The quote regarding charging for repairs that have not done is entirely untrue, our management software will not allow that to happen so we are again at a little bit of a loss as to where this information has come from. After all that has been said we cannot find you anywhere on our system as a tenant, applicant, landlord or vendor so we have to believe that this review is simply spurious, however if we are incorrect in this we would love the opportunity to discuss this with you and find out what did really happen. GoogleBoth girls are helpful and efficient in dealing with any inquiries you may have moving into a property. Kate showed us around and was informative and professional at all times, during the referencing process I called on regular basis to get an update and always found them helpful and friendly.

GoogleAs always all the staff at Pinewood are professional, responsive and excellent communicators. Jess & Rhiannon put up with a barrage of my enquiries with polite and prompt responses. I am so pleased Naomi is still there. After her superb help with my last property in Chesterfield she provides a sense of calm and confidence with a great friendly service. GoogleWe rented a property through this agent for 12 months. Thankfully the actual landlord was wonderful. We experienced very poor communication from some of the staff, and downright rudeness from some others. They use any excuse to charge a fee. Be warned, they do not lodge your deposit with an independent body, as per The Law, but leave the name of the actual Landlord on the paperwork, so any comeback falls to them. Unprofessional practice and very poor customer service for both tenants and landlords.

GoogleWorst bunch of people I've ever dealt with. I have been at my property under 6 months & have an unuseable shower despite it stating 'good working condition' on the listing. The landlord and Pinewood have flat out refused to fix it or take any responsibility. We have had an inspection to which they informed us by letter 3 weeks prior, I let them know we weren't going to be home and to let me know when they had been, I had no response to that email, they then let themselves into my house and did not let me know they had been in the property, I had to ring and find out myself - THEIR JOB NOT MINE. The landlord sent a person round to fix our fence on a Saturday morning without letting us know he was going to be arriving, this lovely guy let himself into our back garden then didn't let us know he had left. I have put complaints in, emailed, said they have breached tenancy with issues, all met with vague responses disregarding a lot of what I say and promises of calls back that never happen. AWFUL LETTING AGENT. THESE PEOPLE DO NOT CARE ABOUT ANYTHING BUT THEIR SALARY AT THE END OF THE MONTH. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Most ignorant, unprofessional, immoral group of ''young professionals' I have ever come across. I am disgusted with them. ** Also note how all the good reviews are from LANDLORDS, all the bad reviews are from tenants - proof of something there or an obvious giveaway they don't care about tenants, just the fees they accrue** Terrible, terrible service. Note to Pinewood - please don’t waste your time responding to this on the review to seem like good, caring people. The people on here that left bad reviews have all experienced your awful customer service and know its all a facade for the brownie points.
