Great service - genuinely couldn't have asked for more. We chose them after having a really positive experience with them when we originally bought the property, and so chose them when we decided to relocate a few years later. They were great at getting people round to view the property, and Caroline was on the ball at every stage. Once we had a buyer and a chain she was helping to push things along when they got stuck further up and working with everyone along the chain to keep things moving. Original review as first time buyers: Very impressed. As first time buyers we needed quite a few pointers about the sale process, but the team were more than happy to help every time. Thought the sale, Peter Lane were very consistent and prompt with all communication. They even helped us get our poorly performing solicitors to complete necessary tasks at the required time. When the negotiations with the sellers got a little difficult they kept everything on track. I believe with a lesser agent, our purchase would likely have fallen through. I'll certainly use them when we come to sell the house. 2021 Update, having used Peter Lane for a sale: We chose Peter Lane when selling after having such a good experience with them as buyers. They actually managed to surpass our high expectations. For context this is during covid, an extra challenging time for all involved. They were highly realistic with us regarding price, which allowed us to sell in a reasonable amount of time. Viewings were conducted well, with no hassle. The most impressive element of the transaction was Caroline handling the chain. This was a challenging move. Several people in the chain, covid going on all around us, and at least one solicitor going quiet for weeks at a time. Without being asked Caroline dedicated her time to pushing it forward, checking in with the other agents and solicitors at least on a weekly basis, sometimes on a daily basis. If it wasn't for her attention I believe we would have missed the stamp duty cutoff and our son would have missed out on his school place. Peter Lane are the people you want on your team. I can't recommend them highly enough.

Documentation process leaves a lot to be desired, to the point we still haven’t signed the contract. Consultants either turned up late or didn’t show up at all. They certainly didn’t know any thing about the house. To the point we stopped them coming and sold the house ourselves. The only one who seemed to know what they were doing was Katie. We then understand our solicitors were told that our buyers were going to pull out if we didn’t exchange, their solicitors knew nothing about this!!!We certainly didn’t get value for money and were overcharged!! Won’t be recommending!If we could give no stars we would!9904

Peter Lane were involved in the sale and purchase for my parents move and also the purchase of my sister's house so, we were satisfied that Peter Lane were selling the house we wanted.They have always been accessible by phone and quick to respond by email.
